Character's Name (Nicknames): Winter, Win, Winny (but only as a child)
Gender: Male
Age: 12 be 13 in a month.
Apparent Age: {Vampires}
Category: Werewolf
Sexual Orientation: ?
Family:
Mother: Curve
Father : Breaker
Character History: Winter was born during one of the coldest seasons the pack had ever endured, or least as far as they could remember. They'd gone up to Canada, having planned to go further south before the cold hit. But Curve was having a difficult pregnancy and it was recommended that to save the child she go on bed rest. As disgruntled as the pack was, it was nothing compared to the pregnant wolf laying in bed all day.
She'd already been inconvenienced by the whole thing, feeling that this was just beyond her. But now the little brat was causing her to have to do nothing at all. Curve was never one to sit still really and the simple annoyance of having nothing to do drove her up a wall. She blamed Breaker mostly. And though the others tried to entertain her, to comfort her, she was just not going to co operate. She would toss plates at them, scream, weep, beg, plead to be allowed up. She even suggested once that the "thing" as she called it be removed. She only suggested this once, for Areyn came to her that evening and spoke to her alone. Noone knows what the Alpha said to her, but she didn't once suggest they do anything again to harm the child.
So when the actual time of the birth arrive, it wasn't a shock that the labor was hard as well. The baby was breech and wouldn't come of it's own. There would need to be a C-section preformed. And as the wind howled outside during the coldest night of the year so far, Curve howled inside as they cut her open to bring the tiny thing to life. When Dream lifted the child, she found it blue, having the umbilical cord wrapped tight around it's throat. She cut the cord and gave the little thing mouth to mouth, reviving it slowly. The cold scream that it let out seemed almost pissed, as if it knew that this world it was in now was not loving or caring and it could have gone on to a better place.
Winter was an odd child, aloof and cool, watching and learning. He was bright and had a sharp tongue that even at a young age got him into way to much trouble. His father appreciated that he had a son, but Breaker wasn't known for his need to take on responsibility. As for Curve, she basked in the fact that she'd had a son and not some worthless daughter, but it was only when it was convenient and often, more times then not, she ignored her child. So the little pale, white haired boy found that he had to fend for himself. But then just when it seemed that Curve wouldn't pay any attention to him ever, she'd suddenly be all doting and sweet. This was almost scarier then when she was ignoring him. He never knew when she was going to snap at him. Which is usually how it ended. But none of this stopped Winter from trying, anything to win his mother's affections or even his father's attention.
Now though, Winter's realized that his only way to get his parents attention is to be bit. He knows the moment that happens, or he thinks at least that things will change. But being that neither will take it upon themselves to accept the responsibility for it, then Winter stands a snowballs chance in hell of getting bitten by anyone. So he'd very much in Limbo, watching those around him, his age mates being bitten, changing, evolving into the one thing that he can't seem to grab a hold of.
