-At first Lee was very surprised at the phone call she received. After Henry's sudden disappearance she had not expected to hear from him again. Especially with his utter disagreement with her actions at her last party. Of course, after reflecting on it, she was sad to lose that home, the fire though had burned all the bodies beyond recognizable, and of course the papers had said she had barely escaped with her life. So when Henry had called saying that he was bringing friends, and they needed a place to stay, at first Lee was suspicious. She had missed Henry though, not finding anyone in New York quite as much to her liking as him. She agreed to let them stay. She began making the arrangements, even going as far as bringing in dinner for her new guests.- -Skip was miserable, his mother was freaking out, his father was on a rampage, and worst of all Harley was gone. It had always been easy for Skip to be positive, he had always been happy go lucky, always able to see the brightside of things. Right now though, Skip felt that ache, that need to get off the airplane and go find Harley. That connection made by imprinting was even now making him sick with grief. He sat on the plane beside Ezra and looked like a hollow shell of himself. Any other time, he might have been excited about going to New York, but not now. It only increased that distance, only made him feel worse. The normally talkative boy had spent the whole flight in silence, staring at the back of the seat in front of him.- -Cynthia had spent her time on the plane looking out the window. The odd wild looking vampire girl found herself fascinated, staring out the window, wondering how this would all end. The taste of Desi was still on her lips, and she absently found herself licking at them, pulling the memory of those moments they had stole together before her leaving. She didn't know anyone on this plane well, only that they all shared a sort of grief over what was happening, a connection in losing the ones that they cared about, even if it were only a temporary seperation. That's what Cynthia kept telling herself, that this was only temporary, even if she had to leave all of these people behind in New York. She had promised Desi as much patience as possible, but for a vampire, Cynthia had very little.- -The plane had landed in New York, on a lovely, overcast, snowing day. Once they had gathered their bags and headed towards the exit, they would find a older gentleman holding a sign that read "Henry and guests". He lead them to a rather posh black limousine that easily seated them all, and as they got situated, he put their baggage in the trunk. The drive was slow, traffic was horrible, but the driver eventually pulled up to a rather large building, old in structure and towering in the city.-

~Ezra hadn't wanted to go. Infarct, it had been hard to get him to agree, in the end it had been Hannah all but begging him and only then, because he'd promised her. So there he sat on the plane with Skip. He could tell the boy was lost without Harley. Not that he wasn't feeling that same hollow spot without Hannah. But part of him wanted to make things better for Skip because after all, the usually cheery boy had always been so nice to him in the past. He leaned into Skip and nudged him.~ It'll be okay, Skip... We'll be home much sooner then you think. ~He meant to sound more upbeat, but he knew that he didn't. But he tried. And then they were in New York. Henry was leading them and part of Ezra just wanted to stab him. It was just fucking STUPID they were going to New York with Henry. Something else for him to protest. He didn't understand why they couldn't go with Israel somewhere and leave Henry behind for the wolves to find. But here they were and well there was a driver. Stepping out to the limo, Ezra suddenly felt like some backwoods little redneck, like some little "injun" of the Res for the first time. He climbed into the Limo and sat next to Skip. They road through the city and both boys were really getting their first glimpse of the Big Apple.~ ~When they pulled up in front of the big old building, Ezra's eyes just rose skyward. He let out a low whistle at the size of the place. Then he looked around. He and Skip were so tall, they practically towered over people. He could see that several people were staring at this odd little group. So he looked to Henry for the vampire to lead the way inside. He still wasn't so keen on this. It didn't help that they were going to stay with one of the Henry's friends and any friend of Henry's wasn't someone Ezra wanted to hang out with.~ ~Israel sat on the plane next to Henry and Sera one on either side of him. He wasn't really speaking and Henry could see some of that creature, that monster that he'd seen at the club in Seattle creeping out. Israel seemed cooler now and Henry could only guess that the vampire was plotting the death of everyone in that pack for taking Jesse from him again. He seemed much more like a real vampire now though, cool, calm, but dangerous.~ ~Once they were in New York, Israel's attitude didn't change all that much. He slipped into the Limo as if he belonged there. And when they pulled up to the house, well he was just as elegant getting out. But his eyes didn't lift to look at the huge old building. No, Israel's eyes were dead straight ahead. He let Henry lead them as he followed along. Israel could only think of one thing and that was getting back to Jesse. He'd promised the wolf he'd come here, promised he'd stay for a bit, but he knew deep down he'd return home soon enough to go out looking for Jesse. He couldn't imagine not seeing him, no matter how much Jesse told him not to come. He felt almost dead without Jesse near him. It was like cutting out his heart. He'd lost Jesse once, he'd not have that again.~ ~Of course in the back of the vampire's mind was the image of Nicky and Kylan. He'd not processed those deaths yet. He'd not been able to. He felt responsible for the two shapeshifters and for Sera. He felt as if he needed to hold it together. But he already knew when he was alone with his thoughts, that he'd be breaking down. He and Nicky had become so close and he felt like he lost a person whom he could have been so close to. It was a pain he didn't want to think about anymore. And Kylan, he'd been there in Alaska when Israel had first come there, trying to make things better. It'd been hard on him. And yet, Israel and Kylan had a common ground, they'd both fallen so hard for the wolves. And now the two were gone, just like that, so easily lost and so frivolously killed, for nothing, for stupid rules and laws that weren't even really prevalent with today's social standards. He hated Areyn and he wanted to see the wolf's blood spilt all over the white snow.~

-Henry had relaxed in his own seat on the plane. He'd thought about getting something close to Isreal but fuck if the whole lot of them didn't look so upset. He had relaxed smiling up at the stewardess that had flirted with him most of the flight trying to get the handsome vampires address and phone number. He'd given the latter easily. Who would know when he'd need a transatlantic snack. Come to see Lee hadn't bee his first instinct. No, his first instinct had been to leave the lot of them, Jack included, and return to Europe for a vacation but than he'd decided to give this whole thing a bit more time. Inwardly he was irritated with Jack's stupidity. It didn't show ... - Relax Isreal ... -He'd leaned into the vampire a bit smiling briefly as he pulled back lighting up his cigarette. They were out of the cab and refined Manhattan air made him sigh in relaxation. Finally, back to civilization. God he'd missed it and so many humans. So much hunting. Lee, fucking Lee might be a problem but on the other hand he was almost amused to see what she would do. Fuck if he cared about Skip. Seeing Ezra messed with was just icing on the best fucking cake. Isreal, well Isreal was not the one to mess with but he knew Lee would love him from the start and watching the two of them go at it would be better than sex and blood. Well, almost better ... - Little Miss Lee. A meat eater I'm afraid but I have told her to behave around my ... friends ... -He said that with a particular smirk to Ezra and Skip- Still, watch your back boys ... game on ... -He slipped in to the front of the pack easily. Cigarette in one hand. The other hand shoved gracefully in his pocket looking like he strolled off the pages of Vogue. Looking just as he had when he'd left her so long ago irritated by her lack of self-control. Murder and mayhem were fun but she polluted her own home and Henry could never abide by being trouble too close to himself. Above all the preening creature desired survival and any who threatened that were disposed of simply and quickly ... - -Seraphim had been quiet in part lost with out the protective wolf she'd come to love and in part because she was alone once more experience a world she had never been part of and lately hadn't ever wanted to take part of. The whole airport experience had left her a bit lost and she stuck close to Isreal feeling somewhat more at ease next to the vampire. She had tried to talk to Skip and Ezra a few times but both wolves looked so upset and moody she'd given up ... - -Now they were in New York and Seraphim almost froze at the amount of noise around her and the people bustling about. She cringed staring straight at the ground and trying to not freak out. If she could just keep her cool until they got to this house she'd relax a bit. She could hide in some little room and regain her composure. She barely heard Henry talk all she could was try and stick close to the other boys and hope they made it out alright ... and hope Donovan was alright ... -

-Cynthia watched outside the limo, staring up at the buildings. Even in life she had never been to a city so big. The airport had been a little rough with all the smell of fresh living blood, but it was nothing compared to stepping out of that vehicle and the entire city hit her. She wavered a moment, but she was able to keep control. She had thought Port Angeles had been a challenge, but now here they were in New York and Cynthia began to wonder if she would be able to keep it under control. She hadn't spoke to any of her companions, and really it seemed easy enough for them to ignore her. Why should she be here after all, wasn't the one she had become involved with one of the wolves that had taken everyone else away from them. Her lover was to them, most likely a traitor, and someone they would rather never see again. Yes, Cynthia didn't know how long her patience would hold out. She followed the rest of the group into the building, the doorman holding it open for them all. Skip found it hard to take in the sights. Even with Ezra trying to cheer him up in his own rough way, Skip looked close to breaking down in tears. It wasn't until the limousine stopped and they got out, he and Ezra towering above everyone else, dressed in light clothing for the weather did Skip actually seem to break out of his stupor a bit. He looked up at the buildings towering around them, his mouth dropped a bit in awe. It was the man carrying their luggage that nudged him.- Your friends are leaving you behind sir... -Skip hurried to catch up, nothing Henry had said had really registered. He had no idea who they were staying with.- -Lee owned the entire building of course, but the top three floors were her new personal residence. It had been gutted and made into quite a lovely home, resembling something victorian outside of the city. She awaited impatiently, her bellman letting her know her guests had arrived. When the knock came, she almost bolted the to door herself, but instead let the butler get it. He ushered in all of them, and led them to the sitting room where Lee was waiting. Of course Henry was in the lead. Lee was quite the specimen really, looking like a petite version of a runway model. She stood a touch above fire feet, her black hair piled up high and perfectly upon her head. The earrings, necklace, and rings on her looked worth more than the entire building, and the dress she had on was clinging, sleek, and the color of darkened blood. Of course it matched her eyes well, those vivid crimson orbs seemed to glare out at all of them. She approached Henry and took both of his hands, before standing on tiptoes to kiss both of his cheeks.- Henry, my dear sweet Henry, you should not stay away so long next time. You told me you were bringing friends so I made arrangements for dinner, they are upstairs...... -And that's when the petite vampire really noticed her guests. Israel looked like he belonged there with her and Henry, but his eyes, she had never seen such a color. Her head turned to Cynthia, and noticed her eyes were the same. How odd. Then she curled up her nose as the scent of the shapeshifters finally hit her. She placed her fingers under her nose, and her face relaxed as she looked them over. She almost purred, such strapping young boys, no matter how they smelled. Lastly her eyes turned to Seraphim, and she certainly did not know what to make of her. She cocked her head up to Henry.- Perhaps you should have been more specific on what type of guests you were bringing. Looks like I'll have to get rid of half of dinner at least... -She was grinning though, and her words were a purring tease. Her hand trailed over Henry's arm and she walked back into the sitting room, expecting everyone of them to follow.-
