-A week had passed since Mickey had been bitten. Nothing was left of the gaping wound on his shoulder a deep dark scar that'd obviously stay with him for the rest of his life. Solomon had smelled Remy on the outskirts of his property, he raised an eyebrow at Mickey across the breakfast table before he continued eating his cereal ... -

Next time Remy sneaks into the house let him know he can use the front door ... oh and I sniffed him out two miles out ...

-He smirked when he got up passing Mickey ruffling his hair ... -

Cute how vampires think they can sneak on a territory full of wolves huh ...

-Viktor laughed a bit. Chase had frowned looking a bit annoyed Remy had come on their land and close to Mickey without permission and the fact that Solomon didn't seem to care. He dropped it as they all continued on with their life, going to work, Lexi looking deeper into school, and spending time with one another. The first few days Mickey felt a bit more alive, he didn't sleep as much, ate ALOT more, and felt like running. Thoughts of Remy were on his mind too, he could almost feel what the others talked about, why they were always touching one another, and then slowly that energy and intense want, it all began to build. He woke in the morning angry, his skin felt itchy, his muscle and bones ached, all the time, no matter what did. Everyone seemed to laugh too much or was too loud or too close or too far away-

-That night they were sitting eating dinner when Mickey snapped at Solomon. He used to be a bit afraid of the alpha but now he was snapping at all of them and looking pissed and moody all the time. The dinner table quieted a little bit ... Mickey was still a young puppy ... barely a puppy actually ... and while Viktor and Uziel could job at Sol all they wanted Mick hadn't earned that right. Solomon paused than laughed ... -

He's finding his balls ... maybe you should be worried Vik he might become beta ...

-Viktor snorted relaxing back as he tugged Casey to him nuzzling against his neck ... -

Fuck you Sol ... and I ain't Beta ... Misha is ... or does he like alpha bitch better?

-They laughed as Misha threw a roll at his head and Vik ducked. All of them knew what Mickey was going through. The intense irritation. Somehow it was built into their DNA to just not take it that seriously. Thankfully in one week it'd be done. The full moon was coming-

~As the roll was thrown and they all started really cutting up, Mickey made that his escape. He slipped outside, standing on the porch. He took out a smoke and lit up. Taking a deep drag, he closed those green orbs. The cold felt good on his skin. He wanted to dig a knife under his skin and scratch, but he couldn't. He frowned as a sigh crept forth. He hated that he was so pissed and aggitated. He wanted for it to just be over, but ofcourse he knew it was coming. He was going to be shifting soon and that was the one thing that he was looking fore ward too. But that wasn't really true. He was looking fore ward to getting closer to Remy. He wanted to have the vampire in bed and that want was all he could think about. It ate him and in the end, it was really all he could think about. He didn't mean to snap at anyone, ofcourse, but everything was driving him crazy.~

~He could feel the wolf inside him roaming back and forth, rattling the cage. It paced, begging to get out and fuck if Mickey didn't want to let it out. He ran a hand through his hair. He was lucky that his parents didn't really care where he was. He knew that he'd not be able to deal with them if he were like this and near them. Infact, he'd probably end up killing one of them, or both. It was too hard to think of even talking to them, much less living with them. Hell, he loved most of the pack, liked the rest and even they were driving him fucking crazy.~

-Chase slipped out after a while leaning against the porch as he light up a cigarette as well. He gazed out the beautiful scenery obscured a bit by the cars parked all over the place and clearly signs that this place was lived in, used, that it was a home. He glanced at Mickey offering a faint smirk after a while ... -

I know it sucks ... I had dreams of stabbing everyone around me with a fork ...

-He took a hit from the cigarette ... -

So Remy came to see you huh ...

-He arched a faint brow at that ... -

You know I know that you feel kind of invincible now but he can still hurt you ... and even once you become a wolf ... the bite of a vampire is dangerous .... be careful around him Mickey ...

-He frowned a little bit .... the worry was there ... he could see the hunger in Mickey's eyes. He had a good feeling the two would be getting alot closer and he knew both of them had little self control at this point in time ... Mickey was a new wolf ... and the vampire had obvious little control with the fact he'd just killed. He could see bad things coming-

Don't... Chase, not now... I don't need a fuckin lecture right now... kay.

~His words were a growl as he scratched at his throat. For a moment he just remained silent and then finally he turned to look at the wolf next to him.~

Look... I know... I KNOW all this.... you and everyone else have been telling me. But it doesn't fucking matter. All I think about is either beating the life out of someone, everyone... or fucking someone... REMY specifically... so... it is what it is, Chase. I know it'll get better when I shift... I get it. I just... can't sit here and listen to the same warning again as if I ain't heard you the first ten times.... I know ya mean well, but come on... Tell me the truth... when you were first bitten... by Saia... all you wanted to do was fuck him and then kill him... you say different and you're a god damned liar....

~He growled again. He didn't meant to snap at the wolf. Hell he loved Chase, like a brother and maybe more. He'd hunt Chase down on the full moon if the wolf would give him chase. He knew it. But he also loved Saia and wouldn't want to do a thing to mess that up. But it was all way to hard to hear, especially from Chase. He wanted the wolf to be happy for him. Not just that he was becoming a wolf too, part of the pack, but that he was happy with Remy. He wanted Chase to accept it, so that he could have Remy around and Chase could be with Saia and they could all have fun together, without all the tension and worry.~

Fuck it....

~Mickey swore and flipped the dying smoke out into the lawn. He pushed off the railing and started off the porch. He was walking towards his truck. It was the only thing he'd been able to work on and he'd just gotten it running again. He knew already he was gonna drive over to Remy's and he knew before he got to the truck that Chase would stop him. But it was worth the try. If for some act of God, Chase gave up, he'd be in bed with Remy tonight and that though alone made some of the anger lift.~

-Chase frowned when he was snapped it. He sucked on the cigarette and sighed watching the wolf walk off in a huff. He knew there was a reason he was so pissed but he also wondered how much of anything he said got through to him. He shook his head a little bit and then growled ... -

I didn't have a fucking choice when I was bitten and I didn't want to fuck Saia ... I didn't want to see him ... or talk to him and I didn't for weeks ... I didn't even know shit until the hospital and then it was on my plate so you don't know fuck about what I did or didn't want to do to anyone when I went through it ...

-Chase finally snapped a little bit at the boy ... -

Whatever ... go ... have fun with him ... but when shit goes down don't come crying to me cause I won't be listening ...

-He tossed the cigarette and walked back into the house letting the door slam behind him as he walked up the steps to his bedroom dropping on the bed as he picked up the cigarette strumming it slowly to sing. It always relieved tension. He frowned a little bit. He didn't like fighting with Mickey but he was tired of pointing out the potholes the boy was driving right in them. He shook his head. He knew the tension came from the fact all he did was hang out at home and work ... he hadn't written a song in months. He shook his head closing his eyes a bit. So Mickey was given the chance to escape and find Remy .... -

~Saia had watched Chase come in and he waited a moment before he followed the wolf upstairs. He slipped in and sat down on the floor letting him play the guitar. He smiled not saying a word until he'd finished and then he spoke.~

You okay? He's just, you remember how it was before the shift... it's a week away and he'll be all apologetic after he shifts.

~A smile played over his lips, but he knew that Chase already knew all this and that the wolf was going to be unhappy no matter what.~

I WILL!

~Mickey barked back at Chase as the wolf went back into the house. He stood at the truck for a moment. He was already feeling that wolf in him telling him he wasn't suppose to go over there. He was going against Sol. And though he'd not really submitted to Solomon yet, he felt he had weeks ago. He trusted the alpha and this was hard to go against him. But just as he was about to turn to go back inside, he thought about Remy. And that was enough to make him fumble for his key and start to get into the truck. He took him a moment to get it to fire up. It was cold and the truck was old. But it finally roared to life. His eyes lifted to rest on the house. It looked so warm and perfect and part of him wanted to slink back inside tail tucked. He wanted to find Chase and make the boy forgive him and scratch at him in all the right places. But he wasn't sure he could handle them laughing at him again. He felt like he was going insane.

-Chase strummed the guitar, working on a new melody he'd had in his head for the past few weeks. He didn't say nothing when Saia came in, barely looked up, but then he smiled a bit and sighed shaking his head ... -

I know ... it's not him ... I'm on edge too ... I just ... I thought it'd be easier if I just stayed here and worked and nothing else but I can feel it ... I'm starting to get bored ya know. I need to work on my music ... I don't want to be a 40 year old bartender ...

-He smirked as he said it tugging Saia up to him and claiming his lips as he pressed his forehead to the boys a moment before he spoke softly ... -

What do you think about taking a trip to New York ... once all this shit with the Volturi is done ... we could stay there a few months ... I got some friends ... we could crash at this place ... I feel like I need to get away for a little bit ...

-Mickey sat in the truck a while and just as it roared to life the passenger door opened up and Seth dropped down inside ... -

So where we going?

-He smirked a bit ... -

Like I gotta ask ... don't be too mad at Chase ... wolves are all about being in your shit and talking about it. Us cats like our space ... so come on ... you wanna go to Remy's right ... I'll hang out for a bit there if you like ... if you don't wanna go alone ...

~Saia's head cocked as he listened to Chase. For a moment he just smiled, but a frown slowly started to form as Chase talked about going away from months.~

But... what about the pack?

~The wolf in Saia was a huge force, it screamed in the boys brain. He'd been a wolf for so long that it was hard to think for just himself. But even as he said it, he frowned. He knew he'd not deny Chase anything, no matter what he asked.~

I would like to see New York... How about we go for a couple of weeks first... three at most. Then we can come back on the full moon and run with the pack... Then we can go back for a bit.

~He was trying to compromise a bit. He loved his brother, loved the mountain and this world. It was perfect to him. He didn't seen anything wrong with it. But he knew that Chase did. He'd heard him and Luca talking about traveling and new that Chase was jealous of the cat for it. It frightened Saia a bit, making him scared he'd loose Chase eventually.~

I....

~Mickey couldn't finish it and thank god Seth did it for him. He gave the cat a smile as he spoke, leaning back and sighing.~

I just feel like... everything and everyone is annoying the fuck out of me. And I say shit that I don't mean, not really. I don't wanna make Chase mad. I just... If I hear one more time that I'll be alright when I shift, I might stab someone in the eye.

~He glanced at Seth and then he was suddenly very grateful the cat was near. He reached out and tugged Seth in closer, inhaling the cat's scent and picking up scant traces of all the things that made Seth smell like Seth.~

You smell like cinnamon...

~Mickey's eyes had closed and he was sort of lost in the cat's scent for a moment.~

That's strange....

~It took him a moment to pull back and when he did, he was a bit embarrassed by how close he'd had Seth against him. He put the truck in gear and started making his way towards the cabin that Remy was staying at.~

Thanks Seth... I appreciate it... Really... I owe ya...

-Chase arched a brow when Saia asked about the pack. He almost wanted to roll his eyes and give a snippy response but he held back if only because of the slight frown on Saia's lips. He hated hurting the boy or upsetting him and he knew every time he hinted at them going away for a bit Saia had this deer in the headlights kinda look. He reached out brushing his fingers through Saia's hair ... -

Alright ... three weeks sounds good to me ...

-He intended to prolong it but he figured he needed to get Saia out first, in a new place, just to show him they could be away from the pack and not die. He leaned in nuzzling into the boy trying to sooth him. Outside Seth relaxed looking at Mickey without pity but without anything else either. It was obvious he had no intention of laughing at him or mothering him. Maybe fucking him, but not bugging him ... -

I'd like to see you stab someone in the eye ...

-He teased a bit and then smiled when he was near. When he backed away looking embarrassed Seth tugged him in closer nuzzling into him a bit as he purred softly ... -

I smell good ... and it's not strange ...

-He smiled leaning his head on his shoulder enjoying the closeness ... -

Yeah yeah ... you do ... remember that next time I need someone ...

-He smirked turning on the radio and thankfully stayed relatively quiet most of the journey just enjoying the boy's presence. They arrived and parked at the house. Seth got out glancing around. He'd not been around too often so he stayed a bit quiet as Mickey led the way up the steps. When he knocked Remy answered looking a bit strained, his eyes had begun to go a deeper shade of red, but when he saw Mickey he smiled a bit tugging the boy to him and claiming his lips roughly showing the same need. Seth rolled his eyes ... -

I'll be close ... gonna go stop by Luca ...

-Remy didn't even hear the cat as he slinked away from the two ... -
