~When a Bertrand gave their word, well it was sort of law. They were crazed, flightly, insane even, but they were loyal. They understood what that meant. Oh yes, they lied, but when they made a promise or gave their word, it was a bond they followed through with. So it was very dangerous to cross a Bertrand because if they swore a vendetta against a person, that was it. So, when Lori had promised Nissy that he was going to take care of the Thompson brothers, he'd meant it.~
So how was your study session with that whiney little Hufflepuff?
~The growling tone of Rocco rolled along Lori's spine as the older Thompson moved into Lori who was sitting at a table in the common room. Infront of Lori was the potion that Nissy had written out for him. He'd agreed to atleast read it. He looked up at Rocco as he sort of pinned Lori into the table. Then the chair across from the table pulled out and Marco, the younger of the two bullies dropped down in the seat.~
Yeah, did you make him cry, Bertrand?
~Lori's brow arched as he slowly turned, his head falling back to look up at Rocco. He ignored Marco, feeling that the boy was to young to really be anything important. As for Rocco, well he was the instigator in everything the two did, Marco was just the sheep.~
Actually, I have him just were I want him. But...
~He pushed up then, stepping into Rocco's person space. He lifted his hand and brushed some imagined dust off Rocco's shoulder.~
That does bring up a point I have to discuss with you...
~His voice was that languid purr and Rocco's eyes narrowed at the sticky sweetness of it.~
Yeah? What's that?
~But he made the fatal mistake of taking a step back, which showed Lori that he was threatened a bit by him and that was all he needed.~
Well... Since Nissy is my personal tutor and he's going to make sure I pass potions, I'm going to need you to lay off him. Both of you....
~Marco gave a snort, but the daggered look that Lori flashed the boy shut him up quickly. Lori's amber eyes turned to flicker over Rocco and a slow smile teased his lips. He stepped into Rocco again, his hand laying softly on Rocco's chest and he leaned in to speak softly into Rocco's ear.~
Call off your dogs, leave him alone, or you will personally answer to me. And you really don't want that. I promise that if you keep going after him, I'll start with your little brother and once he's a drooling fool in the corner, I'll come after you. Please... do me the favor and test me on this... I'd love to get close to Marco at night when he's alone and no one's there to protect him... You have no idea what I'm capable of....
~Rocco snarled and pushed Lori back with a growl.~
You're FUCKING insane!!
~Lori's smile grew and he shrugged as if ofcourse he was insane, he was a Bertrand.~
You are such a breath of fresh air, Rocco... You've been warned... I'll see YOU later, Marco...
~He purred as he moved away from the two of them with that easy languid grace as he passed through the common room. The other Slytherin's sat there and stared in shock. They were amazed with what had gone down. It didn't seem that much actually, but the truth was, everyone knew that having Lori that close to them was dangerous.~
