If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son
I got 99 problems and a bitch ain't one
-The auburn wolf crashed through the foliage running like the devil himself was chasing him but he was trying to tire himself out and it had become harder and harder. He sighed. He was losing his instinct in that homid form. It was strange, being the naked ape, and he could only handle it being a wolf again. He crashed to the ground and lay there panting feeling eyes on him. The moon beamed down at him. Mother. He stared around slowly hearing the howls of his old pack in the distance. He pushed up throwing his head back as he let the howl escape his throat. He called to them but their howl was a communal threat. He didn't smell like home. He smelled strange. Foreign. Wrong. He frowned howling again but in the darkness he could see the glowing eyes of his former family. His mother. His brothers and sisters. They stared at him and growl. He pushed up and took off running ... -
Tip my hat to the sun in the west
Feel the beat right in my chest
At the crossroads a second time
Make the devil change his mind
It's a pound of flesh but it's really a ton
99 problems and a bitch ain't one
-What he was had cost him so much. He outran them with ease not wishing to harm his family. Unable to hurt them. So he ran and ran despite ever instinct in him telling him to fight. To survive. To become alpha maybe. Hours later he stared up as the sun rose in the distance. He didn't know his place anymore. He felt alone with his new pack, he felt alone in the hive, and sometimes he felt alone with Matches. He sighed padding back towards the entrance to the hive that opened up like a great maw willing to swallow him whole. Shifting up slowly back to homid he walked in with just a pair of jeans he'd had Cael dedicated to him. He liked the scorch of the sun on his back. The breeze of wind against his skin. He walked slowly towards Chamber's home. He hadn't spoken much to his father since he'd been down here. Father's didn't mean as much to wolves as they did to the humans. Now he needed advice. He moved being intercepted by the guards as he spoke softly asking to see his old man ... -

You look upset ...
-The alpha spoke softly beconing the wild boy to his feet. He had many children but few lupus born. Ilan's kind were rare. Ilan moved in closer and dropped down by his feet leaning slowly against the wall as he stared up. Those soft mossy green eyes did look troubled ... -
I don't know my place father ... I feel lost here ...
-He had improved his speech but it was still broken. Halted. Chamber dusting his fingers through his hair being far more indulgent with his own children than he would ever be with any other wolf. He listened and answered. Ilan didn't leave for hours. He wanted to be useful. He needed his place in a pack and he didn't know how to seek it out for himself. He was used to an alpha that'd order him. He was used to needing to work for his food. Devon didn't seem to have much interest in telling him what to do and the fridge was always full of food. How the hell was he supposed to spend his time. Chamber smiled slowly ... -
I have ways you could help me ...
-Ilan stared up eager to do anything, to do something. It was late when he'd return home to find both Micah and Matches gone. He had been eager to tell Matches of what he had found but his mate was gone. He sighed shifting down back to lupus as he lay on the floor resting his head on his paw as he fell asleep. He hated having all these doubts and thoughts in his head. He wanted his world to be simple and straightforward. Not this fucking mess ... -
Like broken glass under my feet
I could lose my mind in this heat
Looking for the prize but I don't want blood
I order one drink but I drink the flood
99 problems but a bitch ain't one.
