"Matches ... "
Micah pushed the rat gently that was half asleep beside him. They were both naked in Matches' bed, which was fine, but Ilan had just walked through the door. The wolf stood in the doorway frowning. He felt the intense anger and pain rolling through him to find his mate in bed with the last person he wanted to find him in bed. He stepped in closer and glanced at Micah ...
"Get out of my bed ... "
He stared the rat down and there was something it the way he met Micah's gaze that the smaller rat knew the wolf meant business. He'd had enough excitement for one night anyway as he glanced at Matches for a moment before he got out and slipped passed the wolf who slammed the door behind him. The wolf moved slowly taking off his shirt as he leaned against the dressed not looking back.
"Are you together with him now?"
He asked quietly wanting to hear exactly what was going on but he knew one thing. He was tired of finding Matches in bed with another and deep down maybe he knew that they didn't belong to one another the way they should. He kept thinking of Ace and knew if he'd found the wolf like this that he'd have kicked whoever was in bed with him and tugged Ilan back to the same bed and fucked him. He stared back at Matches waiting for something, that same kind of roughness, the demand that he was alpha and Ilan belonged to him. It was wolf rules. Not human rules. He leaned back crossing his arms staring the rat in the eye all but demanding to be had.
"I wanna know ... you with him now or do you still want to have us both?"
His arms were crossed and his voice held that razor sharp irritation and anger but more than anything he wanted he wanted to see that Matches still gave a shit, any shit, but deep down he knew Matches wouldn't own him the way he wanted to be owned. He also knew he couldn't give the rat what he needed, cause if he could, the boy wouldn't want to be with Micah.

~Matches groaned as he was pushed. He almost reached out and drug Micah back to him, that is until he heard the growling voice of the wolf. He sighed, rolled.onto his back as he watched Micah scurry out. He watched the wolf for a moment, sitting up and run a hand through his hair. He was just as tired of the games, though he didn't see that he was playing any.~
No, we aren't together. But I'm not gonna lie, Ilan. I want you both...
~But the moment those words left his mouth, he knew it was a lie. He sighed again before grabbing his jeans.~
This isn't working, is it? We both know that, right?
~The funny thing was that as he said those words, Ilan could hear the sadness in the rat's voice. He was honestly upset that things didn't work out between them. He was blaming himself though, it was in his eyes.~
I'm sorry, Ilan. I'm not who you want me to be. I'm not good enough for you. I don't know what else to tell ya.
~And the craziest part of it all was this was most likely the most honest the rat had ever been. He wanted Micah, but part of him knew that it'd end badly. That in the end, he probably didn't belong with anyone. He was starting to feel as if he were cursed.~

Yeah ... we do ...
-Ilan spoke softly seeing the sadness in those eyes softened him. He moved and crawled up on the bed not carrying that it smelled of sex and the two rats. He reached out tugging Matches in to him as he claimed the rat's lips before nuzzling into him ... -
It's not about that. We just don't fill what the other needs ...
-He reached out dusting his fingers through that dark red hair ... -
It frees us both ... its better this way ...
-He smiled. It was sad, he loved the rat, but he knew neither one was the other's mate. He pulled back slowly ... -
I'm not upset ... we're still brothers ... you and Juddas ... you are still my brother right?
-He wanted to know on that front they hadn't changed. He tugged the rat down to him when he nodded staying with him for a while longer. He buried into him until Micah crawled back into bed having heard the conversation. He missed having a warm body beside him, he missed Ez to be precise, but he wasn't going to admit that even to himself. When the rat crawled in Ilan nuzzled into him surprised the smaller rat before he got up and left. He wasn't tired, or rather his heart tugged him elsewhere. He walked out of their small home just walking for a while as he tried to think of what he was going to do and before he knew it he was following Ace's scent. He missed the older wolf. He felt of him as an alpha and it was where every wolf went when he needed guidance-

~Matches had to admit he was shocked when the wolf kissed him. He'd expected a punch or worse, but not the kiss. But Ilan was right and it was better, just sad. He looked at the wolf for a moment and then gave a slight smile.~
ofcourse, Ilan. I'll always be there, we're brothers...
~He was tugged down and he nestled in next to that warm body. He was a but surprised that Micah had the nerve to come back in the room either. The three of them lay there quietly and it was peaceful. It was what Matches needed, that peace and quiet. It calmed him some. But it was only temporary, he knew that. And when Ilan got up, Matches sighed, reaching out and tugging Micah in closer. Even Matches could feel that though this felt good, like home, that it was fleeting. But he didn't much want to dwell on that, least not now.~
~Ace circled the two kinfolk bought from the dealer back at the hotel. The girl was trying to hold her head up, be defiant, but the boy was shuddering. He stopped, a sigh falling from his lips. He'd hoped the boy to have a bit more spine, it was frustrating. He couldn't touch the girl, she was promised already to Chamber. Running a hand through that messy blond hair, he looked to the Dancer kinfolk who prepared the girls for their host.~
She's ready... you can take her...
~Two stepped forward to take her away, the third spoke up, but there was respect in that voice.~
And the boy? What would you have us do with him?
~Ace took a step into the boy, he lifted his chin and stared into his eyes. The boy was like a rabbit ready to bolt.~
Take him to the pit, but make him dance first... make sure the father approves of him.
~He let the boy go and took a step back annoyed. Like any good alpha, Ace was choosey about whom he bedded. He moved back to his own den, alone and frustrated. He didn't care much for the kinfolk that were already there, most were used up and the other garou, well his tastes ran more for those that were new, still clean and pure. Not that he was looking for a virgin or anything like that. But the less corrupt the better. It was something in the Ahroun that he couldn't explain. The truth was, like any wolf, he was looking for the best breeding stock and like any alpha, he felt he deserved the best. But, he wasn't choosey about the sex of his partner, as long as their heritage was strong and they weren't completely insane, then there was a spark. The biggest issue was none had been strong enough to keep his attention for long. And weak boys, like the kinfolk did little to satisfy him.~

-When he returned home he could hear voices. Smell something new, but familiar, and as he rounded the corner he could see Ilan standing there with his arms crossed looking unmovable. The dark hair fell in his eyes and the wildness in the wolf's eyes was a stark contrast. The others around him had all been corrupted, too long in the pits of the hive, or the in the pits of the city, but the wolf still echoed of a time long ago when wolves ran wild and free and unrestrained. He didn't expect to see Ilan there. They were supposed to meet the next morning but there he was ... -
I want to see Ace ...
-One of the other kinfolks rolled his eyes ... -
He isn't here wolf ... go away ... you ain't expected ...
-Ilan snapped his jaw when the boy tried to come in closer ... -
Don't challenge me or I will take off arm. My kind still cull the weak. I know he's not here I can smell as much ... I'll wait ...
-The garou moved to throw the young wolf out, whether or not he was Chamber's kid, didn't mean he had any sway to act like he was alpha and the truth was the wolf wasn't acting like an alpha but he was acting like he deserved respect. His eyes narrowed on the other older wolf, his gaze did hold the same fire that had been in Chamber's eyes once long ago, before his head snapped to the side seeing Ace. He smiled faintly relaxing instantly as he moved in closer dropping his gaze out of respect ... -
I ... wanted to go hunt. Do you want to come with me?
-He wasn't even sure why he was here, what he wanted to say to Ace, he just knew he felt alone and didn't want to sleep with his own pack. His instinct was to go out and sleep outside in lupus but he was trying his best not to do that anymore. To stay human so he could understand them but they were like a different species, a different race. He just knew he hurt, he felt alone, and instinct had told him to come to Ace and he didn't question. Wolves didn't overanalyze their own emotions or thoughts, it felt right to go to Ace, so he did. Simple-

Whatcha doing here, pup?
~Ace watched as Ilan moved in closer and he had to admit it.made him smirk some. He leaned over and pulled the wolf in closer, lifting Ilan's chin. Ace stared into the wolf's eyes and the fire there drew him in. But he pushed that want down. It was there, the desire and it rolled over them both like electricity. But this wasn't just any wolf, this was Chamber's own child. Ace knew he couldn't, no, shouldn't touch him in any way.~
Hunting?
~He could see something was bothering the wolf. It read all over his face. But Ace shrugged and then nodded. He turned and had the wolf started to walk off, assuming Ilan was following. He lead them out into the darkness of the early night. He walked a bit further before tugging off his shirt.~
So, you wanna tell me what's got your fur ruffled? You didn't just show up at my place cause you wanted to hunt. You should be careful challenging my pack, Ilan. Chamber's kid or not, they'll make you remember why they have a higher rank then you.
~When Ace turned to face the younger wolf, he looked like he was some sculpted form from Greece. Like Adonis or Achilles. Beautiful and stunning, a Greek God. His head cocked and he stared at the beautiful boy before him. It hit him this might be a very bad idea. He was alone out here with Ilan, noone to answer to. Just him and this lovely boy whom he got the feeling would lay down for him in a heartbeat.~

-Ilan felt the shiver roll through him and he tilted his chin up a little bit only baring his throat for the alpha. He could feel the want to lay down for him, to fight him, and be owned full and completely. When he nodded he followed easily along and Ace was right, something was bothering the wolf, it was written all over his face. Something else he needed to learn from humans. How not to wear his heart on his sleeve. Animals may be good at hiding pain, and Ilan was good at being stoic about pain, but anything emotional and it was all over his face and in his body language. He moved out in the dark night tugging off his own shirt easily and without being bashful. Clothes were a human invention not animal. When Ace turned he could see the wolf eyeing his body with appreciation. He was stunning. Ilan himself was lithe and toned, not as muscular, but it was obvious he spent a lot of time running ... -
I ... found my mate with another. I knew things weren't right for a while ... just couldn't stay in the same bed with him tonight ...
-He rubbed the back of his head sighing faintly as he stared down ... -
I'm just confused. I love my pack ... I'd die for them ... but ... they are just not wolves.
-He frowned as he said it unsure how to word it but he missed his old pack. He missed being with wolves, not werewolves, but wolves. He missed sleeping in a great big mass of fur. He missed hunting and eating with them. He missed playing and laying out with his belly to the sunshine. He sighed pushing off his pants standing naked in the moonlight letting Ace appreciate the pretty boy before he shifted down with fluid grace to his natural form, the wolf. The sable haired wolf stretched out almost like a cat seeming to grin as he stared at Ace ... -
I bet I'll find prey first ... how good is your nose old man?
-He teased smiling, his tail wagging, as he stared at Ace before he took off running knowing Ace would follow. He knew the wolf had to be fast and fucking strong, he had some advantage in that the wolf form was his natural form but he knew deep down Ace could catch him and make him pay for those words and it was what he wanted. He wanted to be owned. Now suddenly it seemed like an even worst idea then before. The wolf wasn't just going to lie down for Ace he was all but fucking daring him to pin him down and have him. None of that was really going through his mind. He just took off running through the wilderness trying to catch the stray scent of prey losing himself in the beauty and simplicity of the hunt-

If you knew that things weren't right and finding him with another, then how the fuck can he be your mate, Ilan?
~He asked the question easily, but he wasn't being mean. He was just being honest. It was one of the reasons that Chamber looked to Ace for advice. He wasn't afraid to tell the truth to the Alpha. He smirked though as Ilan shifted. The sable wolf was beautiful. Ace gave a slight laugh.~
Old man huh?
~He shifted down to a gray wolf, those pale stormy eyes still there. He shot off after Ilan. He needed to focus on hunting rabbit or deer or maybe a pig and not Ilan. He had to remember who Ilan was. He kept trying to repeat in his head that Ilan was off limits.~
~This was probably the best thing that had happened recently to Ilan. Not only was he able to run and hunt, he had a wolf chasing him down who was ready and willing to run and hunt with him. Infact just when he was sure that he might have outrun Ace, he'd see that grey wolf dart up next to him, hip check him and move on, chasing a wild pig out from under some brush and tearing after it. The thing about pigs were they were fast, very fast and in the end Ilan and Ace had to work as a team to corral the creature and take it down. It was easily bringing them closer, making them a pack.~
~Ace took the first part of the kill, but he left a good portion for Ilan and moved slightly to the side to let the younger wolf get in close and get his own food. They feasted and when it was over, Ace moved in closer and nuzzled into Ilan, letting him know for now, like this they were pack. He stretched and for a moment he was saited. He had a full belly, they'd hunted and he had a good solid wolf next to him. It was dangerous. He felt it, that pull and electricity between them. He sighed softly, contentedly. But then he jumped on Ilan, pinning him, but then pushed off and darted away. He was playing, wanting to get them from being so close. He wanted on some level to just be a wolf. It was so much easier that way. There weren't so many rules or laws between them.~

-The sable wolf was a blur through the bushes and trees. He glanced behind, panting, feeling the grey wolf that was running him down as if he were the prey and not the predator. He wanted to lay down for the alpha and be claimed by him. To run with him. Hunt with him. He couldn't remember a time he felt this happy. This good. When he was hip checked the followed behind Ace snapping his jaw at him playfully before he focused on the pig. After the exhilaration chasing the pig down Ilan approached slowly on his belly giving the alpha first dibs on the food. It was natural to him. Most of the other werewolves would have jumped at the chance to feed unless they were put down. He knew Ace was alpha. It wasn't submissive it was just natural ... -
-When he was offered a piece of the pig he moved in burying down as he tore at flesh and blood satisfying the need for food, raw, fresh, and delicious. He sighed when Ace came in closer. He crawled in half on top of the wolf nuzzling into him tugging at his fur and ears as if he were a puppy. He lay down beside him stretched out content and looking as if he were about to fall asleep. When he was jumped he yipped in surprise before he smirked. He got up stretching out like a cat before he jumped on top of Ace trying to pin him down as he nipped at his legs and back and maw. He jumped off before he jumped back on top. Instead of putting space between them it was drawing them in closer but it was wolfish and relaxing. He could forget about everything out here with Ilan. That was just as dangerous because the wolf was all but beckoning to be claimed-
