~Ilan's prone form lay beneath Ace, the blonde was worn, tired but relaxed. He tugged the darker haired boy into him, nuzzeling, knowing this was right, this was what he'd wanted all along and the others be damned. Ilan was the perfect wolf, wanting to be lead, willing to lay down his life for his alpha, but learning at the same rate. He was stunning and it was all Ace could do not to have taken him sooner. But that night in the woods, well, it had been too much, hadn't it. And now, here was Ilan, wrapped up with him and Ace was satisfied, content, something he'd not been in a long time. His hands were already roaming the boy's body and soon his lips were going to follow.~
ACE!
~The wolf sat upright, a gun pointed at the person yelling his name, but then it lowered when he saw who was standing above him. The other held up his hands and for a moment Ace was confused, as he searched his own bed for Ilan, who wasn't there, hadn't been there, it was all just a really fucked up dream, one he shouldn't be thinking about.~
What?
~The other cocked his head and then spoke quietly.~
Chamber's askin for ya.
~He nodded and then pushed up, running a hand through his hair. He looked around again, even sniffed the air and knew then and there it was all a dream. He wanted Ilan, badly. but he couldn't. Instead he had to push it to the back. He couldn't have the boy, the boy was after all the Chamber's own child and what would the hive alpha think of what Ace was thinking? He had to keep his mind off Ilan. He had to keep it strictly as mentor and student, that was all. He dressed and went to find the alpha, to see what knew request he was going to be given. Anything to keep his mind off Ilan. Atleast, thats what he kept telling himself.~
~Leaving Chamber's presence, Ace moved into the hive. He was to meet up with Ilan and take the wolf with him on this next little mission. They'd be gone for a couple of days, alone. This wasn't exactly what Ace had in mind. He'd tried to convince the alpha that he should take someone more experienced. But Chamber wanted Ilan to have more experience. And ofcourse, who could argue with Chamber? Not him. So he was suppose to go find Ilan and take the boy out into the world. They were doing a bit of recon on the vampires and in the mean time, it gave Ace a chance to expose Ilan to the human world more. Least that's how Chamber put it. Ace knew that this could make or break this relationship. He had to keep the wolf at arms length.~
Ilan....
~Ace moved into the pack home of the rats. He'd knocked, Matches had answered and immediately the rat had bristled, but the alpha, like any good alpha could have given a shit. He pushed passed the rat and asked for Ilan, dropping onto the sofa with a confidence that suggested that if anyone fucked with him, he'd take their hyde for it.~

-Ilan left his bedroom looking worn and a bit used. He'd been having the same dark dreams about Ace and there was no one around to sooth the ache. He had been sleeping in his bedroom when he smelled the other wolf. He arched a brow and pushed up smoothing his messy dark hair down as he came out in just a pair of pants looking stunning. Half asleep still as if he'd rolled right out Ace's dream. He smiled when he saw the wolf looking a bit surprised ... -
Ace?
-Hen moved in closer dropping on the couch gazing at Matches slowly ... -
It's ok ...
-He spoke softly before he glanced at Ace-
What do you need from me?
-It was spoke with a certain level of obedience and respect as true wolf would oblige of his alpha and he did consider Ace his alpha. He stared at the older wolf with a certain admiration and he knew it was bordering on obsession. It was wrong but he wanted the wolf worst then he'd wanted another-

~For what it was worth, Matches backed down and walked passed Ilan without a comment. But Ace was staring at the wolf for a moment with a look of sheer hunger. But he pushed it down as the wolf sat beside him.~
We are being sent on a job, by your father. We'll be gone for a few days. We'll be doing some recon work on the vampires. Which means we'll be in the human world. Your father felt it was time for you to do more then just train.
~Ace watched the boy beside him closely. He wanted to grab him, tug him in and claim him, take the restless energy from him. He gave a slight smile though and leaned back.~
That was your ex? He looked like he wanted to murder me. Go get dressed, Ilan. We need to leave soon.
~He motioned for the boy to get up as he stood as well.~
Meet me in the garage.
~He left then, quickly. If he'd stay, he'd have ended up in Ilan's bedroom and neither would be able to walk after he was done. Ace went and grabbed his own things, but his mind was swirling with images of that wolf looking so fuckable on the sofa. He tried in vain to push it down but god only knows it wasn't going to be that easy. He suddenly wished he'd given them both a little more time. He could have gone and released this pent up energy on some kinfolk and felt better for it in the long run. But he hadn't and now he didn't have the time. So he packed and the went up to the garage and waited on Ilan.~
~When the wolf showed, they climbed into the Bronco and drove into town. Ace was quiet for the most part as they drove down the strip. This time instead of some nice resort hotel, they went to a smaller older seedier place. He parked and went into the office, leaving Ilan outside. When he returned he climbed back in and drove into the courtyard parking lot until he found their room and parked just outside of it.~
~The ground floor room was nothing to talk about. It had seafoam green walls with a mural of what appeared to be undersea ruins along one wall. The bed was king sized, complete with a mirror on the ceiling. Everything about the place seemed shady, slightly worn and used and yet there was this strange sea theme to everything, including shell shaped soap. Ace dropped onto the bed and flicked on the TV which was mounted to the wall.~
We've got some time to kill. It won't be dark for a little bit. We can go grab something to eat soon and then we'll hit the clubs... Are you prepared for this, Ilan? I can't have you freaking out when we go into some seedy under club because there will be lots of people and the music will most likely be loud.

-Ilan watched Matches walk away although he knew it ate at the rat to do so. For his part the wolf enjoyed seeing him squirm just a little bit. He had sat down on the couch eyeing the wolf cautiously but with respect before he frowned ... -
... several days?
-Panic drummed up his heart. Ace could feel it, hear it, that rythmic beating picking up speed as the wolf began to panic at the thought of being among the two legged for so long. They were noisy and chaotic. He knew though he couldn't disobey his father or even Ace for that matter. He glanced back at Matches before he smiled a bit and shrugged ... -
He looks that way at everyone ...
-He nodded but stood watching the older wolf for a while before he went to his room. He grabbed a bag and shoved some clothes in a bag. He found Matches and told him he'd be gone a few days out of respect for the rat he still loved. He also didn't want them to worry about him. After he packed whatever he thought he might need he moved down towards the garage. His breath caught every time he saw Ace. Stunning. Powerful. A true alpha. He wanted to bare his throat to him. To a creature that earned it just by being in the room. He stayed quiet the whole drive. Staring out the window trying to acclimate himself to the surroundings as they entered deeper and deeper into human territory-
There's so many of them ...
-He murmured before Ace left him alone to get the room. Once they got in he glanced around. Laying on the bed with Ace seemed like a bad idea. He paced before moving towards the window staring out with a frown muttering softly-
So what if I kill a few ... they've killed plenty of mine ...
-His voice held a soothing sexual growl without meaning to. The werewolf was a wolf first and he saw the humans as walking death. They had destroyed his people's land. He knew he should not see himself as lupus anymore. He knew his brothers and sisters didn't see him as such but he still felt like them. He sighed ... -
I won't fail you ... I won't freak out ... but I can't lie and say I'll enjoy any of this. Being so close to them. So many of them. So loud and all of them always talking ... constantly ... and they are so much fleshier without their guns ... they hunted me a few times. Corner my pack with fire and guns. Now ...
-He stared at his hand flexing it slowly-
I could kill a lot of them ... it'd be easy ...
-He frowned letting his hand drop-
I haven't told anyone else I've thought about it. Is ... is it wrong to want to kill them?
-He glanced at Ace for guidance. He didn't know why he trusted him so much but he did ... -

~Ace listened to the wolf. He pushed up from the bed and went to lean on the window next to Ilan. He shrugged.~
No... It's not wrong to want to kill them... hell it's not even wrong to kill them.
~He smirked as he said that.~
Some of them deserve it. Not all of them... but some of them. Some of them can be useful. We aren't Gaians, Ilan. We don't have the same.... standards about humans as they do. They say they protect humans...but do you know what our job was originally?
~His eyes narrowed and he nudged Ilan to follow him. He walked out on the walk way and leaned on the railing. They could see the parking lot, the people walking back and forth on the strip and the small ratty pool. He looked at Ilan and then dug out a pack of smokes, lighting one up. This had to be probably the first time Ilan had seen him smoke. He looked different some how, more relaxed, like he had the night in the woods when they'd been hunting and hanging out together.~
A long time ago, our job was to cull them. We were to keep their numbers down, make sure that they grew... protected them from themselves... but also... we were meant to make sure they didn't over populate.
~He shrugged with a smirk, taking a deep drag from the smoke and then he turned, facing Ilan.~
Wanting to kill them if fine, doing so, is fine... but if you get caught... that could be a different thing. And we are here to do recon, not to kill... That my friend is a different time... and we can, if you want, explore that on another time. But not this time....
~His head cocked as two young men walked by staring at both Ilan and Ace. He gave them a slight smile before turning his attention back to Ilan.~
They were checking you out, Ilan... You gotta watch it tonight... They'll be all over you. They can smell a predator... and where we are going, they tend to be drawn to that, not scared of by it.

-The younger wolf listened quietly and arched a brow. He rather liked the idea of culling. It was a herd that had grown far too big for the space it was provided. He smiled up slowly at Ace looking like the kid with the candy ... -
So ... I can kill them ... just don't get caught?
-He stared off thinking for a while before he spoke again-
Then I'm glad father allowed me to go on this recon mission with you. If I'm too hunt them I need to learn about their environment ....
-The challenge and purpose was set in his eyes. He wouldn't freak out now, he'd focus, because the wolf had an end goal. Learn about the humans so he could kill them without getting caught. Ace could almost see a serial killer being born right in front of him. He followed the wolf outside wrinkling his nose as the cigarette smoke before he glanced in the direction of the boys making the same disgusted face ... -
I wouldn't mate with any of them ...
-He shrugged gazing up at Ace-
So what are we hoping to learn?

Why? And honestly, its not mating. Its just fucking. You got a problem with laying with a human?
~Ace arched a brow at the wolf, but he knew what. Ilan meant, he was sort of teasing the wolf. He liked the spark that had rolled through the wolf, the dark serial killer side, it drew Ace.in, a moth to the flame.~
We are going to find out just where the Sabbath stand and how strong the Camerilla are. We are going to also see just what sort of shit the Bishop has gotten into, thanks to our pack helping them.
~Ace shrugged as he pushed in closer to Ilan.~
What exactly are you looking for in a mate, Ilan? Some pretty little wolf that will roll over and bare her throat as she gives you lots of little puppies?
~The way Ace moved in, there was something dominant about it, sexual ghat would make Ilan want to bare his throat for the wolf. His eyes flashed, those gray orbs watching the pretty dark wolf before him. There was a moment that seemed as if Ace were about to touch him, draw him in closer and havehim there on the balcony. But instead he straightened and pulled back, leaving electricity in the air.~

-Ilan's eyes darkened faintly looking almost offended-
Yeah, I don't lay down with prey ...
-He smirked after a moment knowing Ace was teasing him but he didn't care. The hate he bore for the naked apes was palpable. He shrugged before staring out having no intent to let those boys or anyone touch him. Ace had to know at the club if any human was gonna grind against the stunning little wolf they'd probably get a broken nose for their trouble-
I see ...
-He nodded slowly before he stopped when the bigger wolf drew in to him. He stared up feeling the want to just blurt out "you!". He held his mouth shut for a moment feeling the electricity as he stared up almost baring his throat for the wolf in front of him. His breath caught as he spoke quietly-
I ... don't know what I want ... or need ...
-He felt a shudder at the electricity that was left. He stared down at the ground for a moment feeling his breath stolen before he moved in ... -
... what about you. I'd have thought you'd have a mate by now ...
-He stared back at Ace wondering what it was about the wolf that made him want to touch him so badly.-

You don't huh? I admire that, I suppose...
~Ace smirked, but then that electricity sparked between the two of them and there was something there that made the smile fade. Ace's head cocked as the wolf stumbled over his words. It was endearing and Ace wanted to grab him and own him, show him just how much he knew what the boy needed. But he kept the distance as the image of being gutted by Chamber for touching the boy. And then the boy asked him about why he didn't have his own mate. He smiled some but there was something sad in it. He shrugged, pushed off the railing and went back into the room knowing Ilan would follow him.~
I had someone once... She was garou and we went through our Rite of Passage together. But being a Gaian means we couldn't be together. Not that it didn't happen, but when it was found out, we were split apart. When her pack was taken, I went after them. That's how I meet your father for the first time. She became a conduit for him and the Succubus... If I wanted to be near her, I had to become a lieutenant for your father...
~He sat down at the table and leaned back.~
She wasn't the same person anymore though... Who I was in love with died when she joined up with your father... So... since then... no, no one... I've not really found anyone that I want... It's not to say that I don't enjoy myself, Ilan. Kinfolk and all that... and of course we are suppose to populate the hive.
~He smirked some when he said that. But he'd shared something he'd not really ever with anyone else. But maybe it was a little payback for Ilan letting him in some. He motioned for Ilan to come closer and kicked out a chair. When Ilan sat down, he leaned in and brushed back a stray strand of hair from the wolf's face.~
You understand that tonight when we are out at these clubs that there is a good chance that someone, human or vampire might want to dance with you or touch you. I'm not saying you have to lay with them, but I need you to fake accepting them. You can't get that look on your face that speaks exactly what you are thinking. I can read you like a book Ilan, just by looking into your face. You wear your emotions on your sleeve.
~He pulled his hand back as he said that, realizing he was telling the boy that he could read him, which meant he knew and could see the want in the wolf. And he was denying the wolf the one thing he wanted. If Ilan realized it would seem that maybe Ace wasn't interested, not like Ilan thought he was.~

-Ilan had spoken honestly. He was still a wolf. It didn't mean he didn't know how to lie, he could fake emotions, it was a lie that animals didn't hide their emotions but they lied about different things and for a different purpose. He felt the electricity and part of him all but begged to be had. It was hard to deny that want. He followed the wolf helpless but he snapped out of that dreamy reverie listening as he spoke-
You lost your mate? That's sad ...
-He frowned. Wolves didn't mate for life as believed by humans but there were deep attachments. He knew it'd hurt to lose a mate although he'd never lost one. He'd not even ... mated ... to be honest. The boy looked innocent about it all. He had to admit he liked the idea of Ace being free. The touch had made him smile before he frowned slowly at the thought of being touched by humans or vampires-
That won't be easy for me ... I don't even know how to fake accepting them ...
-He sighed laying back in the chair a bit annoyed before it dawned on him Ace could read him. He'd not been hiding how much the older wolf interested him and he didn't care. Not that way. It struck a blow to his young heart. He stared off and out at the windows. He needed to let go of those dreams he'd been having about him. The need to lay down for him. He pushed up a bit glancing back at Ace-
If this is what father wants me to learn ... I'll learn it. I can mimic the humans if I try hard enough ...
-He still wanted to make his father proud. He wanted to make Ace proud but the realization Ace didn't want him stung. He pushed up pulling from the wolf a bit. Needing the distance between the two of them ... -
Can we go? I feel crowded in this place.

~Ace sighed when he saw the disappointment in Ilan. it just served to prove he hadn't been imagining shit when the boy was begging to be had. He nodded to the request and then got up. They went out, grabbing some food at a decent little diner where they could get the meat almost raw. And then they went out. Ace wasn't cruel enough to just toss Ilan into a club and expect him to survive. He started it off slow, smaller bars and pubs, giving the wolf some alcohol and having a few drinks himself. They slowly progressed through the strip until both were feeling pretty good and relaxed and now Ace knew they could hit up the Vampire clubs. He also knew it wasn't going to happen just tonight. They were there to be seen tonight and Ilan was beautiful, he would attract attention for sure. But there was a part of Ace that felt annoyed by that. Jealousy sparked, but he pushed it down as he tried to just keep his mind on the task at hand.~
~They entered the club, the music drumming and the room dark. There were flashing lights and though they had been to clubs already, this one was darker then the rest. Not to mention there were little alcoves here and there. It wasn't the type of place any wolf would really like. But Ace kept the wolf near as they wove through the crowd. He grabbed them a seat at the bar and got them a beer. Ace watched the crowd instantly picking out the vampires in the place. After a little while, when it seemed they'd be ignored the rest of the night, a young vampire slipped passed the crowd and landed next to Ilan. He was pretty for sure, but his face was sweet and he was no alpha. But maybe the predator recognized his own. He smiled at Ilan.~
You don't look at all happy to be here? You look so beautiful all melancholy and sad. Are you as beautiful when you are happy?
~He flashed a slightly fanged smile, the Toreador was smitten already. He couldn't help himself. Ace leaned back, those grey eyes watching closely to see how Ilan would handle himself. But the truth was, he half hoped the Ilan would push the vampire off and they could escape this place. He wanted to try and calm the wolf, have a reason to touch him again, be close to him. The alcohol wasn't helping at all.~

-The disappointment was clear on his face and Ilan was melancholic the rest of the night. Focusing on the bars and pubs helped sooth some of the sadness or maybe fuel it to annoyance. He angry at Ace. Angry he'd been led on. He hadn't but the wolf was young and aggressive on some level even if he was philodox. He'd lost his mate and now he lost Ace too. It was alot to take in and not be pissed. It didn't help being surrounded by so much prey when all he wanted to do was hunt, tear something apart, if only to feel better. If only to feel like himself, a wolf, where everything was so much simpler-
-When the vampire came in closer Ilan stared him with those beautiful cold dark eyes. The vampire was stunning, he wasn't human atleast, he could take his strength and aggression right now much more than any human he'd tear in half. He glanced back at Ace a moment before he pushed off the bar stool easily and moved in a bit to the vampire ... -
Come with me ...
-He tugged the vampire roughly after him disappearing into the crowd. The toreador was shocked a bit at the roughness but it served to fit the ideal in his mind. Wolves were supposed to be rough. Predatory. Ilan tugged the stunning toreador into the crowd melding in a bit into it before turning wrapping his arms around his neck and leaning in claiming his lips. His eyes closed. He was starved for touch. For affection. He'd get it where he could. It was dangerous. He was close to wolfing out on some level and Ace feel it. The electricity was in the air. He pulled back from the kiss leaving the vampire a but stunned as they started dancing together. All around them the other vampires stared at the two. They were impossible to resist. Beautiful and sexual and violent but what the vampires really picked up on was how close that beast form was to surface of the young wolf. It was too primal not to watch but for now he was keeping it in check. Ilan danced with the vampire but for the most part his eyes were closed and he lost himself to the beat not even carrying the other humans and vampires were close enough to rub against him. Ever so often when his eyes would open they flash that pale yellow color of the wolf before reverting back to normal-
