-The world blurred by him becoming images and sounds filtered through an animalistic lens. Emmanuel dug whole in the ground with his paws relaxing slowly. The moon shined above him. He'd let the vampire instinct take care of him, burying the logical side of his brain, a trick he'd learned a long time ago to get through hard times. To stay sane. A sort of torpor of the soul. He sighed reveling in the simple pleasure of feeling the cool ground against his skin. Images of a certain vampire popped up now and then making him whine in pain. He focused harder shutting them out even more. He knew he had to maintain some semblance of sanity, in case Trace contacted him, he checked in on his hotel room ever few days but right now he had three four days to forget and he used them-
-His senses become alert when a nearby deer ran through. Suddenly the vampire was up moving in that wolf form quick and fluid. He took off like lighting reveling in the chase of the hunt. Whipped by rain and thin branches he took the creature down burying his maw in its neck as he drank the blood. He lay down in the ground laying next to the dead body enjoying the last touches of warmth. When the sun tugged at his soul he went down to ground laying beneath. It was days before he'd emerge. He sighed staring down at the ground wondering for the hundreth time why he couldn't get Az would of his mind. He wanted to forget the wolf. He should have move don by now. It had been weeks, but, he couldn't. It worried him he'd left Nikolai there with all of them. Worried how it would play out. How Trace would weather this storm. He knew he should have trusted Az but the wolf's temper worried him and he'd wanted to protect him. Az had been wrong about his loyalty. Em had been loyal to one person in this world so far. Trace. Now he was loyal to two and Az was one of them. He didn't care about the Sabbat and while he had his own interest at heart he would give his life for both of them. Still, he'd been alone so long it was hard to trust. Hard to think of doing things as a pack rather than alone-
Stop it!
-He pushed up growling trying to forget for the hundreth time as he leaned against the window staring down at the crime and the misery of the shit as part of town. It helped take his mind off things back in Las Vegas-
