What do you mean you went to dinner with a rat?

~Ez was on his bed, laying back with Luthar laying across his stomach, the smaller cats head on Ez's stomach. Rhys smirked, shrugged and nestled in closer to Luthar to let the cat continue to play with his soft hair.~

It's what I just said, Ez. I was at the club, singing, and this boy shows up, all confident and when I got closer I realized who he was, or what he was really. I realized the longer we talked that he was part of Micah's pack. So... I hung out with him. He took me to dinner.

~Ez smirked.~

Did you eat directly out of the dumpster?

~He couldn't help but laugh, which made Rhys smirk and smack Ez roughly.~

Shut up, Cat.

~But then he continued, telling them both what happened and Ez listened intently.~

He was blond, pretty, ya know...

~Ez cocked his head.~

Which one was he? What was his name?

~Ez was thinking, listening to everything the wolf was saying. This was just another piece of the puzzle, the one that would be Micah's demise.~

Jack....

~Ez's smile flickered even wider.~

So you gonna help me, Rhys?

~Rhys shrugged and then slowly, gracefully rolled over on his stomach.~

And what do I get out of it?

~Ez smirked darkly and then pushed Luther off him as he crawled in, stradling the wolf and pinning him down.~

Well what do you want, exactly?

~He glanced over at Luthar and nodded for the cat to come closer and help him convince the wolf to help him.~

I mean.. we are in the same pack, brothers and all.

~Ez purred down at the wolf who just laid there, his head cocked as he stared up at Ez. He knew the cat well, knew better then to get into bed with him. Luther on the other hand was more fun, wild and insane, the complete opposite of languid, lackadaisical, Rhys. He glanced up at Luther when the cat had crawled in closer and he flickered a slight smile to the smaller cat.~

I suppose that's true... But I don't understand how me being involved with Jack at all helps your caues, Ez?

~Ez shrugged, brushing his fingers down along Rhys' chest.~

Because, it's one more who might have my side. See... I plan on turning that entire pack inside out. And the more that I can get hooked, the better. See right now I could ruin Michah with Matches, but it wouldn't be enough. No... I want more... I want his entire pack to turn their back on him... then and only then might I be done with him and put him out of his misery.

~That made Rhys laugh.~

~Ez growled, annoyed that Rhys was laughing at him.~

what do you mean what? Hmmm? come on, Ez. You don't want to ever be done with him. You are obsessed. I can see it, you were used and it shocked you... hell if it had happened to me, I'd be shocked too. But we all know you want to own him, completely.

~Ez's eyes narrowed and there was a spark there that maybe Luther needed to step in and defuse. Rhys and Ez were maybe too much alike.~

-Luther stretched out on Ez smiling up at the ceiling. He had been thinking about Matches. The rat resisted him and every turn and that only made him even more insistent to get past that wall. He focused back on the conversation arching a brow smirking ... -

Oh THAT blond ... he's kinda hot ...

-Luther reached out toying with the wolf's hair crawling over Ez a little bit as he nestled into the stunning boy beside him. He liked Rhys. He was arrogant and got what he wanted. They had many games, competing for who get what they wanted out of whom. Luther smiled not speaking much but he was listening. It worried him that Ez wanted to take this game this far. It showed a strange obsession. He should have killed Micah by now. Tortured him and let him go maybe. He hadn't even left a mark on him. Course he was too smart to say as much out loud. There was a touch of insanity to all of them and as much as he loved Ez he knew the cat could be pushed to insane violence. Luther pushed in kissing along Ez's neck ... -

Oh shut up Rhys. This is a fun game. Twisting a whole pack inside out. Unless .... maybe you don't think YOU can own that rat ... what do you think Ez. I think Rhys is losing his touch ...

-He murmured in Ez's ear smiling as he ran his fingers through the cat's hair soothing him softly. He purred the words using a touch of his power to calm those emotions. He had to remember to smack Rhys later when they were alone. He knew the wolf wouldn't be able to resist the challenge even if it was obvious. He pushed Rhys with his foot playfully-

~Rhys watched Luther for a moment and then his eyes narrowed.~

You are trying to bait me, Kit.... I'm not foolish enough to just fall for such a thing...

~Ez leaned into Luther's touch before he smirked when he heard Rhys.~

Oh... I think you might be right, Kit. I don't think he can do it. Wow, I had no idea that you would be defeated so easily, Rhys.

~Rhys growled and pushed Ez off him.~

I'm not defeated. Maybe I just don't want to sink to that level.

~Ez pushed up a bit as if he were about to smack the wolf, but then Rhys sighed.~

Fine... sure... I'll help you.

~Ez growled, sitting back.~

Don't hurt yourself, Rhys.

~The wolf shrugged and crawled back in to Luther.~

No... you are right... we're pack. And what ever that rat did to you, he deserves to see the results of his action. I'd be the same way if it were me. So you can count me in.

-Luther smirked batting his eye lashes looking innocent as he stretched out a bit looking just like a cat. Ezra and the others gave the impression of being lions but Luther even in homid acted like a house cat. A lazy fickle creature that wanted to be adored and pet and fed. He ran his fingers through Ez's hair purring in his ear ... -

Shh, come on baby, you know Rhys wants to help us out. He just wants something shiny in return ...

-He reached in his pocket taking out a silver pocket watch holding it out to the wolf. Luther always brought him some new thing he'd either steal or find in some antique store. He held it out to the wolf with a smile to appease him a little ... -

-He reached out tugging Rhys to him as he nuzzled against his neck. He was often the one to make peace between the two and amongst the others. As much trouble as the cat brought back to the pack he kept peace with the others.-
