Werewolf Facts
1. A werewolf is Infected by another werewolves bite, much like the venom of a vampire.
2. It take a full month for the infected human to transform.
3. During that month the infected become more agitated and aggressive as the wolf takes control.
4. The First shift happens on the first full moon of the following month.
5. The Infected cannot control themselves, convulsing until they finally shift.
6. It is very rare for a werewolf to shift into the half form on the first shift. It takes practice to get that talented.
7. They may attack the closest human to them, but usually they just run and go out to hunt, lost in the wolf.
8. In the wolf form the bite is not infectious. Only in the half form does the virus pass.
9. It's rare for the werewolf to control themselves though, as they usually kill their victim before they manage to infect them.
10. All werewolves gain heightened senses, preternatural stealth, abnormally quick healing, abnormal strength, stamina and dexterity, not to mention becoming amazingly fast.
That's the basics. As for the rest. Unlike the La Push Shape shifters, werewolves do not have a pack mind and do not see each other's thoughts and such. But they do run in packs, as much as the Vampires would like to deny it. They've found safety in numbers, at least in Europe. They hold an unadulterated hate for Vampires, but this is mostly because of the fact they've been hunted to extension by them. Since learning of the Cullen's and hearing rumbles of a revolution against the Volturi, there are those amongst the Lupines that have decided to join the fight.
Years and years ago, when the Romanian's lead, the werewolves were in league with them, like guards, allowed to hunt the surrounding area and given anything they wanted like Gladiators. But when the Volturi came into power, and the Romanians were turned on, the werewolves defended their old masters, and were soon just as hunted as those that opposed the Volturi.
