~Sasha stood in Dorian's bedroom staring down at the luggage. He still couldn't believe he'd agreed to this. Yes he knew they needed to get out of England, they needed a place to hide out for a bit. But the idea of running not only to America but to Lucas' house where Caedan was seemed completely ludicrous. He felt very much like he was jumping from the pan into the fire.~
~Images of that night with Nix and Caedan kept playing over and over again in his head. Pursing his lips, he sighed, running a hand across the dark mohawk. It had been Nix and Caedan that had cut his hair, among other things. What in the hell was he thinking? Caedan was probably loving every minute of this, knowing soon he'd have Sasha in a place Sasha couldn't escape from him. It could only be making him smile to know he could have Sasha so close to torment.~
I must be fucking insane....
~Moving through the old house, Lucas was searching for the green eyed devil that owned him. His grandmother's house was large, one of those old Victorian things in downtown Savannah. It smelled old, but there was a certain charm to it and there were lots of nooks and crannies to hide away in. He found Caedan in just one of these, a side screened in porch that had a hanging single bed that would sway softly in the breeze, when there was one. It was full of pillows and as a child had been one of Lucas' favorite places to sleep when he'd been allowed. Now Caedan seemed to have claimed it, like he'd claimed everything else in Lucas' life. Luc crept closer, crawling onto the bed, a smirk teasing over his lips as he pinned Cae to the bed and claimed the dark creatures lips roughly.~
Cae.... you will behave right?
~Pushing up, those jade eyed flickered over Caedan. They'd talked about it ever since Dorian and Luc had spoken.~
They'll be here tonight, Promise me you'll be good and leave them alone.
~A breeze rolled across the porch, causing the rockers to sway. Luc's dark hair danced in the slight air. But even as the wind tried to cool things off, it was a vein attempt. Summer in Savannah was sweltering. He vaguely wondered how Sasha and Dorian were going to do in it. Lucas thrived here, blooming like some rare orchid. And it seemed the heat did wonders for Caedan as well, who had flourished as well making them both almost impossible to resist.~
Earlier
~Luc hung up the phone and sighed. Leaning against the desk he ran his hand over his face. He could already hear Cae now, laughing coldly. But what was Lucas suppose to do. Dorian needed a place to go and for sure he wasn't going to deny the boy. He'd understood how both Dorian and Sasha needed to get away from everything going on. Sasha's family wasn't going to leave them alone. Now that he'd agreed to allow them to come, the hardest part was to convince Cae to leave them alone, especially Sasha. That was going to be the part that Luc was not looking forward too.~
~Sasha stared wide eyed at Dorian as he told him where they were going. Slowly dropping into the chair behind him, Sasha just shook his head letting a cool laugh creep forth. Slowly electric blue eyes lifted to stare at Dorian.~
Do you want to send me to the looney bin, Dor?
~Sasha was stressed, tight like a bow ready to snap already. The electricity could be felt, rippling through him. But he just sighed and leaned back.~
Okay Dor.... Okay... when do we leave?
~He didn't even argue. He knew full well that they needed to get the fuck out of London. He knew his family wouldn't just lie down and let him go. They'd kill him and Dorian, just to prove a point, just to show others that one couldn't leave so easily. And true, America was very far away, not to mention who would think Sasha would go willingly to live where Caedan was living? It really probably was one of the safest places they could go too. It just seemed so insane to Sasha, like he was walking into the lion's den and there was no escape.~
