Family: Yeah, I gots one and it’s kinda big.
Character History: Colt was born to Sissy and Red McCoy on a cold fall day in 1980 in Appalachia, Va. They weren’t a wealthy family by any means, but what they lacked in money, they made up for in spades in family. Not only was Red from the infamous McCoy family of the famous feud, but he was raised inside a wild and close knit pack of wolves. So Colt, being their 8th child and their youngest came into the world with werewolves at his side, never once fearing that those creatures would ever hurt him. The small town of Appalachia was founded and raised with the pack of wolves in their midst, something that over time had become myth and legend. But those who were special, those who really had a keen eye, they knew they truth. This pack ran the woods, had their friend’s back and kept their family close.
Colt grew up surrounded by this tight knit life. The pack was a seam busting 132 by the time Colt was a teenager. This included those that weren’t wolf, werewolf and of course, children. It had become a way of life for the American wolves to live in these tight knit packs where human and wolf could co-habitat. And when a child was of age, they were given the choice to become wolf or not. It had become a way of life, a doctrine to live by. And something that Colt whole heartedly believes in. When it became his turn, he chose with little thought, knowing in his heart he was born to be wolf. And so on his 16th birthday, he was bitten by his eldest brother and Alpha and brought into the fold.
Character Appearance: Colt is a dirty blonde whose pin straight hair is cut into a Mohawk at the moment. He’s thin but wiry, standing just shy of 6ft. There is something wild and feral about him, hazel eyes with a wolf’s stare follow those around him. He prefers worn jeans and t-shirts that look as if they’ve seen better days. His boots are worn, scuffed but seem to fit like a second skin. Fashion isn’t something this boy really follows, but he has an effortless style, if not a bit country.
Personality: Wild, unruly, lawless, crazy, insane, mean, rough, stupid, all of these and more have been used to describe Colt. He’s a bit spoilt by his own family and his good natured wildness was never put under thumb much by anyone. He’s been allowed to run wild and free and so that impetuous nature seems to thrive. He looks for the light in things, trying to find humor and entertainment in everything he does, whether that is working, hunting, flirting or fighting. He likes to be the life of the party. But, get this wolf mad, go after one of his own, or even just a friend and he’s all fur, claw and fangs, ready to take care of business. No one messes with his pack and gets away with it.
