~Ciaran paced, back and forth, like a caged tiger. The anger radiated off him. They stood just outside of the airport, Harlin to his side by the fence as the plane took off, returning the vampire they'd been hunting back to Europe. Ciaran couldn't watch it, all he wanted to do was rip that vampire apart, but that wasn't an option now. The vampire had made it to the plane before them. He'd seen them right before he got on the plane and the smile had sent Ciaran overboard. He hadn't admitted to anyone, not really even himself, but he'd wanted to bring that vampire back to the pack, bring him there and let them know in that Ciaran was able to get to him. It was on some level like a peace offering. But that had been snatched out of his hands. He stopped pacing, his fingers wrapping in the chain link of the fence as he looked over at Harlin. Those eyes were bright gold, but there was a fire there, the cogs already turning.~
You sure you don't want to go to Europe?
~Ciaran was a hunter, always would be. His prey had eluded him today and he wasn't willing to just let the trail go cold. But he'd promised Harlin they wouldn't go to Paris. And he knew before he asked that question what the answer would be. He sighed before turning around and stalking away. As Harlin followed, Ciaran moved deeper into the woods. He stopped when he knew for sure they were alone, he turned, punching a tree, the tree splitting, creaking but managing to stay up.~
This is ridiculous....
~He snarled, fangs glinting as he stared at the wolf. All he wanted was to hunt. If not the vampire then some human. He needed to hurt someone or something. Deep down he just wanted to make it up to everyone, but the wolf before him the most. He knew that even though they were there, together, that things weren't going to continue on that path. Harlin couldn't be completely forgiving of the vampire yet and ofcourse now, Ciaran had burned his bridges with Jean Luc. And the others, Ren and his pack, well they weren't so happy with him either. Not that he was sure he cared, well not about any of them but Finn and Corbin. The latter, he'd not admit too.~
I doubt that Jean Luc will be so willing to give up on Jules and that fox... They've slighted him.... alot... he won't be able to go to the Volturi again... but he'll find someone else...
~It was the truth. He knew Jean Luc wouldn't give up so easily. Not with Jules and Niki having embarrassed him. In the end Jean Luc would find someone to hire to come after them. Which could be much more dangerous. The Volturi were hard to control, Jean Luc didn't really have much say in what they did. Their orders didn't come from him. They followed Marcus and the other Volturi elders. But the more that Ciaran paced and growled, the more Harlin could see he obviously meant to make up what he'd done. It spoke volumes about the vampire before him. That whole don't give a shit attitude was just a wall that he kept up, one that a few had managed to crack and start to tear down.~
