~Finn was alone, completely alone. Flint had been taken at some point away from him. The other vampire had been at least some company, but now he was alone again. But he wasn’t for long. The doors opened and he was taken out again. This time he was taken to a more intimate setting. The room was smaller and he’d find Jean Luc sitting in a chair by a large ornate fire place. On the floor by his feet, Jules was on his knees. He was statue still, staring into the fire as if it might save him some how. He wasn’t wearing much, just a pair of black pants and when Finn was pushed infront of Jean Luc on his knees, Jules didn’t even flinch or look at him.~ You must be growing hungry by now, Finn. ~Jean Luc had a book in one hand and his other was gently stroking Jules hair. He didn’t even bother to look at Finn. When Finn would look around he’d see a form chained near the fire place just in his peripheral. When he turned to get a better look, he’d see Flint, trying to arch away from the every warming metal of the chains. His eyes were dark and his body rigid tense. It had to be hot there by the fire and it would hurt, but he’d heal it and that was the twisted part of it. He’d heal and then burn and heal and burn, over and over again.~ Tell me… are you hungry? ~Jean Luc had laid the book down in his lap and he was almost pleasantly smiling at Finn. His eyes, those old red eyes were settled on him like a cobra with a rat. He was up to something. This was a game, another torturous game. But what game was it? That was the rub, figuring out what the game was.~ ~Jules’ for his part didn’t flinch or make a move, but his eyes slid over to Finn for a brief moment. There wasn’t terror or fear, no it was something else that bewitched Jules bright red eyes. He had given up. It was resignation and deadness that Finn saw in those eyes and it was heart breaking. The hell Finn was endearing was nothing to what Jules had to be going through. Jean Luc was an unforgiving creature and he was beyond angry with Jules.~ Attachments:

-Finn frowned when he was tugged along. He growled a bit, almost wolfishly at the vampires tugging him along, but he knew better than to do anything. When he saw Flint he almost sighed in relief, he’d thought the vampire dead but now he saw he was just being tormented. He frowned when he saw Jules though. He tried to move in closer to him but he was held in place by the guards behind him. He frowned willing Jules to look at him and tell him everything was going to be ok but the vampire looked so lost. When Jean Luc asked the question the vampire stared up full of hate but despite everything in him wanting to attack he looked down and swallowed this pill … -
Yes … Jean Luc … I’m hungry …
-He knew that was the answer he wanted. He wanted obedience and he wanted Finn to become a monster just like him. That had to be the game, or maybe it something worst, fuck if Finn knew. He had no idea how to play these games and he felt as if the others were would be punished if he fucked up. That was the worst part. He knew Ciaran was still underground no doubt losing his mind and Jules was so lost in a way Finn had no idea if he’d heal. He knew one thing. Ren would come, they would come, and he’d rip out Jean Luc’s throat … -
Is that what you want to hear?
-He stared at Jean Luc, a mute angry child looking up at him, but Finn was young and Jean Luc had seen the blood lust. He could be groomed into something useful, or maybe just used to torment Jules. Either way … -

What I want to hear, Finn, is the truth. I don't want you to tell me what you think I want to hear. Do you understand?
~Jean Luc spoke to Finn as if he were a child. He reached back out and stroked Jules along the side of the neck. And then he stood up slowly. He left Jules were the vampire was sitting. Instead he moved to the fire and stoked it some. Flint strained to get further from the fire. As Jean Luc moved the poker, it grew hotter and hotter. Taking it from the flames, he held it near Flint's frame.~
Have you ever seen what happens when we burn?
~He asked Finn and Flint started to struggled a bit, looking a bit wide eyed. But then Jean Luc turned away from Flint and set the poker down. He moved back to the chair and as he sat he spoke.~
Phillip....
~One of the others appeared from the darkness. He brought in 3 humans. One was a girl maybe in her early twenties, the next was an old man in his late sixtes and the last was a young man in his late twenties, early thirties.~
You have three choices Finn... take your pick.. you may ask them questions if you like. Which ever you choose, the other two will be set free... Simple as that.. but you must choose...
~He had moved over to Jules and lifted the vampire to stand next to him. He cupped Jules chin and forced the vampire to look at him.~
I really want you to watch this, Jules...

-Finn eyes narrowed but he didn’t respond at the first question he just nodded mutely. His gaze filled with hatred when he saw him going closer to Flint and stoking the fire. His eyes widened when the vampire picked up the hot pocket … -
Don’t hurt him … please …
-He spat out the last word hating himself for saying it but he didn’t want the vampire burden because of him. He stared at Flint frowning before the others were brought in. The vampire stared hungrily at them knowing which he wanted, the boy. He looked so delicious. He knew his blood would be best and it was his preference when he fed. He frowned at the question staring back and forth before looking at Jules pleading for the vampire to help him … -
I don’t believe you … you’re going to kill them all anyway …
-He couldn’t do it. Couldn’t make a life or death decision. It was so fucked up. He’d killed already, so much blood on his hands, but atleast then he’d lost control, now he was being asked to do it as if judge and jury. It was so fucked up and so sick. He shook his head looking at Jean Luc with hate but now fear-
What’s even the point of this game?!
-He stared the humans wondering which to choose, there had to be a way around it ... he couldn't ... -

~Jules couldn't help Finn, even though he wanted too. He sighed a bit when his eyes finally registered on Finn. He turned his eyes to Jean Luc.~
He's young, Jean Luc. This games are hard on him. He still has that human side, he's not let go of it yet.
~Jean Luc smiled, petting Jules a bit.~
Ofcourse... that's why I'm trying to help him. He won't learn to let it go without being trained. You should have been doing this all along. But you never were good at this sort of thing... look at how you handled Emile. THAT vampire was such a waste. I should have taken him under my wing. It would have been different.
~Jules flinched a bit as Jean Luc's hand went to his throat, tightening slightly.~
Don't you agree?
~Jules was frowning, but he just nodded. Jean Luc spun him and forced him to look at the group and Finn.~
Well, Finn? Have you already made a choice? You don't wish to question them? I assumed you'd want to make the morally correct choice... How about I help you out....
~He let Jules go and moved to the three humans who were standing there, in fear.~
This woman is a mother of two, she's married to a man whom loves her and works hard to make ends meet... but she has a secret... don't you dear?
~She looked away when he said that.~
She's been having an affair with her husbands best friend. She's not happy with her husband or her children and dreams of running away with this man.
~He then moved next to the old man.~
This gentle man has 4 children and 7 grandchildren. He was married and never once cheated on his wife. As it turns out though, he is a racists. He has helped lynch 3 people of different races, one was a young girl of only 14... None survived and he hasn't ever been caught.
~Then he stopped at the guy.~
Lastly... we have a young man whose going to college, working towards his degree in law. He will be the first in his family to have gone to college and graduate. But to pay for said college he deals drugs, making sure to hook other students so he has a constant supple of new clients.... Now... does that help you choose?

-Finn’s eyes narrowed watching the way Jean Luc pet Jules like a pet. He wanted to break free of his chains and tackle the older vampire and dig out his organs and pop his head off like a cap off a beer bottle. His eyes narrowed when he spoke about Em, he wanted to shout Em would never be like him but he kept his mouth shut … he knew he wouldn’t be beaten … it’d be others and that hurt worst than anything the vampire could do to him. When Jean Luc turned and moved Finn stared at Jules frowning softly wanting the vampire to show he still had something left in him but he was beginning to worry if the wolves ever found them it’d be too late … maybe for all of them-
If I choose will you stop burning Flint?
-He stared at the vampire in front of him wanting to save someone and he knew he’d never let Jules out of his sight and he wasn’t going to unbury Ciaran. He knew that. His heart broke at the thought of how mad the vampire had to be going. It tore through him but maybe he’d loosen the chain on Flint a bit. He waited for some response but either way Flint stared down at the ground his eyes closing … -
I … I don’t know … I guess … the old man …
-He knew it wasn’t the right choice, there were no right choices, everything was going to leave a black stain on him and by the time it was done Ace would never want him. He could never return to the pack, not after he had fallen so hard. Maybe he should just give up his humanity. It all hurt too fucking much, he could strip it away and let it go and it wouldn’t hurt so much. He finally opened his eyes looking back Jean Luc knowing something bad would happen soon ... the vampire didn't stay two words without three of them being a lie ... he was so out of his depth playing these games and he knew he was failing ... -

Oh? we are making deals now?
~Jean Luc smiled. And then he gave a shrug.~
alright.... choose and I'll let Flint down.
~He crossed his arms waiting for Finn to choose. When he did, Jean Luc smiled.~
Interesting choice... yet you didn't ask questions, Finn. You just chose the one that seemed the worst. But they are all three murderers. They are all three bad... Our little lady has taken out hits on her husband and her children... and the other has killed two of his clients because they could no longer pay for his expensive drugs.
~Jean Luc shrugged.~
But if he's the one you want, by all means... go ahead...
~He motioned for Finn to take the man. He also motioned for Flint to be let down. One of Jean Luc's lackeys unchained the vampire who collapsed to the ground, but then pushed up, scooting away from the heat of the flame He looked up at Finn. Jules was standing sort of behind Jean Luc staring at Finn, shaking his head when Finn started to move to the old man. He nodded his head to the younger male, trying to convey to Finn that's who he needed to drink from. And when Finn moved closer to the old man, he would smell the sickness on him and know his blood would be tainted and gross.~

-Finn watched them take down Flint and he relaxed a touch seeing the other vampire being allowed to relax. He moved in closer to the older man who was slinking back from him. His eyes danced to Jules for a moment getting the message. He smelled the blood and it made him recoil back. He knew it’d be tainted and who knows what effects it would have on him but when he moved to the younger Jean Luc held a hand … -
Choice was made …
-Finn stared at Flint a moment before he moved quickly holding the older man against the wall and biting down roughly on his neck to drink. He was starving and despite the taste he took a few mouthfuls needing to satisfy the hunger but the moment the blood hit his system he pulled back dropping to his knees and throwing up part of the blood he’d drank. Like the blood of the drug addict had sent him spiraling, this one, tainted and full of sickness left him just as weak. He clutched his stomach dry heaving on the ground before falling feeling the sick blood draining him a bit of his strength but he knew he’d process it and he’d be fine. Eventually. Right now he just felt like shit. He pulled away from the others …-
Are you … gonna let them go?
-He could feel pain still wracking his body from the wretched blood but he wanted to see if Jean Luc might let them go. He didn’t want to know anything about them, good or bad, he had no interest in becoming judge and jury. He knew where it was leading … to becoming just like the Volturi … even as he said it though he was staring hungrily at the boy knowing his blood would be so good ... it'd be a little drugged and he could feel that high again-

~As Jean Luc forced Finn to feed from the sick man, Jules moved for the first time in a bit. He moved quickly to grab a hold of Jean Luc's arm.~
please... don't make him.... It's not right... we can smell he's sick...
~Jean Luc backhanded Jules and then nodded as Finn sank his fangs into the old man. After Finn had vomited and was asking that question, Jean Luc just smiled.~
They are free to go, if they can make it to the door.
~He shrugged, but one of the others appeared out of the darkness and grabbed first the woman, slicing her arm open, the sweet blood running down. And then the same with the male. The woman screamed and ran towards where she thought the door was. Flint was on her in less than a second. He was so hungry and her blood was too sweet to ignore. The male stared shocked, stumbling back and right into Finn's line of sight and smell.~

You bastard …
-Finn spat the words out at Jean Luc and for a moment he wanted to move towards him and attack but the scent of blood hit him and it was over. He’d thrown up most of what he’d ingested and the rest hadn’t healed him but had weakend him. When the boy came into view he descended upon him pinning him to the ground as he bi down on his neck feeding. The blood was so sweet, so good, it was like having champagne after eating rotten eggs. Before he knew it the boy was dead, limp on the ground and Finn rested his forehead against his chest crying softly for the first time in days. He hated this place, hated Jean Luc, hated himself, and he was beginning to wonder if he’d get out alive or sane. He wiped his tears furiously and stared up growling like a mad dog … his eyes were on Jean Luc and for once he didn’t care if he’d die he was going to hurt the vampire. If he could just make it to him in one swift quick movement he’d tear out his throat … -

~Jean Luc just shrugged when called a bastard. But in that moment Finn was on the boy. The room was silent save for the sound of that last hitching breath from the dying young man. And then Finn was staring at Jean Luc as if he might tear out his throat right then and there. The moment Finn flinched to move, he'd get grabbed and tugged back into a tight grip. When Finn snapped at his suppressor he'd hear and then see it was Flint.~
No no no, Finn, don't do that. It'll end badly for all of us.
~He was growling in Finn's ear, his grip tightening. And Jean Luc, well he was smirking and holding Jules in close to him. Finn could see it, he'd snap Jules neck in a second. And no doubt the vampire was old enough to rip that pretty head right of that thin neck.~
Listen to your friend, he's repaying you for helping him off the fire. Giving you sage advice, there. Now... if you are done with your display... I think it's time you returned to your room...
~He snapped a finger and the guards reappeared. They lead both Finn and Flint back to the cell. The door shut behind them as darkness fell around them. Finn could feel Flint leave his side. Then there was a blinding light as he struck a match. He then lit the candle, dropping down with a sigh. He arched just to look at the marks that were starting to heal now that he'd have blood.~
Thanks, Finn... You could have asked for something else....

-The vampire growled when he was held but he relaxed he realized it was Flint. He stared at Jules full of heartbreaking knowing he was powerless to help someone he loved. Knowing he was powerless and too stupid to fight against Jean Luc. Ren would come, he knew it, and the vampire would choke on his own blood and Finn would be there to watch. That he knew as well. He pushed Flint off him but went quietly with the cards. The moment he was in his room he punched the wall as hard as he could until his hand was bloody and his fingers were broken. He sighed leaning against the wall panting a bit full of pain … -
He wouldn’t done anything nice for Jules … you were the only one I could help …
-Finn shrugged softly. He didn’t think of anything for himself, what could he ask, he just wanted to see his friends out of here and he liked Flint. He stared at the vampire watching him heal … -
Thanks … I would have gotten Jules killed in a second … I just hate his guts so fucking much … I never wanted to kill no one my whole life … I never understood that … but now … I swear when the pack comes I’m gonna help tear out his heart …
-The young vampire said it with conviction as he sighed moving in towards the light dropping down next to Flint as he cradled his broken hand waiting for it to heal. The pain made him feel better. Gave him something to focus on. Something that wasn’t just the pain of killing another … -

~Flint watched the boy punch the wall and freak out a bit. Finally when he calmed down, Flint just shrugged. He took Flint's wounded hand and looked at it before he turned those bright red eyes on the boy.~
Don't waste the little blood he gives you, Finn. When the time comes, you want to make sure you're ready for it.
~The time? The time for what? Flint let go of Finn's hand and leaned back on the cold stone wall. And then he went on.~
If you are right about this pack of yours, than you need to be ready...and you need to be ready to be more focused about what's going to happen. Getting out alive is more important than Jean Luc's throat being ripped out. That being said, his death would be an insurance he won't come after you again.
~He shrugged.~
But you still need to be focused. And you have to realize that there is going to be deaths and not just on Jean Luc's side.
~Flint turned to look at Finn.~
You hold onto that hate, Finn, cause it'll burn for you and keep you alive, you get me?

-Finn frowned softly staring down at his hand being held. He moved in closer, unexpectedly, and buried a bit against Flint almost nuzzling into him like a wolf. It was an unexpected show of affection considering most vampires rarely touched like this. He buried his forehead against his chest a moment sighing ... -
I know ... I know I need control ... but all my willpower is going into not ripping out his throat ...
-He pulled back a bit looking up at the stunning vampire... -
When they come we'll get you out too ... I promise I won't leave you down here...
-He nodded easily before pulling back as he moved and dropped down on the ground leaning his head back against the wall ... -
They are gonna come ... not just a wolf pack ... but other shifters as well... cats and foxes and coyotes ... Jean Luc fucked up and he won't live another month I promise you that ...
-He growled a bit before smiling a bit ... -
You should come with us ...

~Flint wasn't expecting the hug. Infact, he stiffened a bit when the boy came at him. But when he was nuzzled into, he relaxed slowly and put an arm around the younger vampire. He sighed some. But then Finn was pulling back, and Flint let him go, though it was a bit reluctant. The words had made him give a slight shrug as Finn went on about him going with them. A smirk crawled over his lips.~
I don't know, Finn. That's asking alot. Wolves are bad enough, now you are talking about others.
~Something in Flint's brow furrowed and he took a deep breath.~
You don't need to keep talking about whose coming, Finn. They have ears everywhere...
~A frown had crept to his face and even into those red eyes that never really seemed to carry any emotion. But that was typical for normal vampires. It was either nothing or flat out hunger. With that being said, he pushed up off the wall and moved to the door. He stood very still by it, listening quietly. And then he turned and moved back. He sat down again and leaned into Finn, speaking softly.~
First... since we are waiting for this pack of yours, I think we need to start trying to learn his game. We need to play, so we can get out of here. The more freedom we have, the more of a chance we have to escape, right?
