-James swagger with an easy sort of grace. It wasn't animalistic the way Reyes moved, wild like Kola, or rough like Kaelan. He moved like a wolf that's been tamed, a sort of pet of the Queen, though one that could still sink his teeth in an intruder, tear our his throat, and go back to sitting in front of a fire like a pampered lap dog. It was a dichotomy that suited the Brit well. Now he was moving through the Sunday market that brought Savannah to life and it was his one day he enjoyed alone. Lucky had little interest and often spent the day in the garage, drinking beer, and tinkering with his motorcycle. Both simply were happier in their own elemenet and after two terrible Sundays sharing each other's world, it remained sort of an unspoken rule never to attempt it again. So James strolled easily, dressed in a simple pair of grey slacks, and a white button down, with his sleeves rolled up, looking sort like he'd just stepped out of a GQ ad where the models are trying to look as if they'd not put too much thought in their look despite the fact they'd been styled for a better part of an hour. James liked his nice, well tailored clothes ... -
It is beautiful ... sort of a Renoir feel to it ... you're very talent
-He was standing in front of a small display. The girl was blushing and smiling trying to get James to buy her work, but more important to get the gorgeous man in front of her to take her out to dnner. The wolf smelled the lust easily but he ignored it. He smiled easily leaning in as he took her hand gently kissing the back of her hand before placing the money for the smaller work and his card which held his address-
Be a dear and have it sent to my house ... much obliged ...
-He flashed a pair of teeth, before he walked on, content with his purchase. He already had a spot for it in his room though he doubted Lucky would appreciate the landscape. He moved easily stopping at a small bakery right next door sitting down arching a brow when the waitress came over and asked if he wanted some sweet tea ... he sighed a bit smiling faintly looking as if he almost was saying "bless your heart ... no-
I'd prefer Earl grey ... splash of milk ... no sugar ...
-The waitress looked a bit miffed as if he'd insulted her but he smiled and spoke in that smooth british accent that made everything kinda sound like it was Shakespear and all was forgiven-

You are missing a southern staple not drinking sweet tea....
~The voice was soft but full of amusement and when James would look up from his table, he'd see Casey sitting at the table across from him. His brow was arched and he had a mug of coffee infront of him, plus some ultra sweet scone looking thing. He smiled, pushed up, grabbed his plate and mug and moved in, dropping down at the seat across from the wolf.~
Look at you, here all by yourself?
~Casey looked fucking perfect. He was dressed in a simple pair of khaki long shorts and a red short sleeve button down that seemed to fit him perfectly. His dark hair was still sort of that mess of loose wavy curl falling in deep grey eyes and that smirk that was just full of mischief and trouble. He looked around for a moment, as if he were checking for something or someone and then turned his attention right back to the wolf. He leaned in and smirked.~
So, where's your bad boy boyfriend, hmm? I don't see him around here....
~He looked over one shoulder and then the other and then back to James.~
being all growly. SO does that mean you are here all alone and I can make you entertain me?

Tea is important ... and so is tradition ... I see no reason to fix something that's not broken ...
-The arched brow of surprise slowly melted into a grin as he took a sip from his cup of tea. James smiled when the human just invinted himself over and just sat down but truth was he didn't so much mind. The grin widened a touch-
Do I need a chaperone?
-He snorted a bit at the next part-
You're just gonna come right out and say it aren't you. Don't believe it being subtle huh?
-He snorted a touch before shrugging-
Lucky is where he often is on the weekends .. at the garage ... tinkering with his motorcycle. I have no interest in the mechanical and he has no interest in art ... so we find it easier to relax with our own hobbies and meet up later. HOWEVER ... that is totally unrelated to me being disposed to entertain YOU ...
-He finished his cup of tea pushing it aside as he leaned back-
What are you doing here anyway? It's not exactly the highschool scene ... shouldn't you be smoking pot in a parking lot?
-James grinned faintly ... that accent rolled off his tongue easily ... -

~Casey scoffed.~
it's not about fixing something that you think is broken. It's about tasting the culture of a new place, embracing that and reveling in the new place your in so you can experience like a local.
~Casey flashed that easy grin and then shrugged.~
I don't know. You might, being as your acting like your still in England... you aren't home any more, Dorthy.
~He teased and then the grin grew wider, shrugging again as if that were enough of an answer to the question. He never claimed to be subtle, he wasn't every really good at that. As James spoke, Casey frowned, rolling his eyes.~
That's a shame that you can't enjoy such a perfect day together.
~But James got the impression that Casey really wasn't so upset for him. But then he was throwing his head back, laughing, baring his throat for the wolf without realizing it. Even his eyes were laughing, like Lucky used to be on some level. But there had always been a sort of underbelly to Lucky that Casey didn't seem to have. He motioned behind him. And there, sitting at another table was a woman with a teenaged boy and a pre teen girl.~
My mom wanted to come down to the market. We always come, but then split up and meet for coffee before going to shop more.
~He glanced back where his mother was peering at her phone, his sister was playing some game and his brother was watching them as if he couldn't believe Casey was over talking to some older guy. But Casey, well he didn't seem to give a fuck. Casey leaned in then, catching James attention again. For a minute he just smiled and then he stood up, tossing some bills on the table as if the wolf couldn't pay his own bill.~
Come on, let me show you some of the better galleries. There are loads, and some pretty amazing artist, being that Savannah is home to the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design.
~He nodded for James to follow. And there was the rub, right? Casey was either trying to impress him, or he honestly had an interest in art and culture, so much different from Lucky, it was almost like rubbing dirt in a wound to remind him how glaringly different he and Lucky were.~

A local huh. I think you're calling me snobby ...
-He grinned a little bit before nodding slowly-
Dorothy was from Kansas ... and I'm well aware of WHERE I am. Believe me ... if I could get some good curry I'd be happy.
-He teased the boy in front of him before snorting a touch-
You have that annoying habbit Maddy has ... the one Kael finds endearing ... where you act like you know something of the world despite the fact you haven't graduated highschool yet. Do I really need to be school by you too now?
-He chocked on his tea when the boy said it was a shame he and Lucky weren't enjoying such a beautiful day. His eyes widened a touch at the bared throat and he almost purred content. He wanted to nip at Casey throat and claim him for his own before he cleared his head shaking it off wondering what the fuck was wrong with himself. He glanced behind him nodding slowly ... -
Isn't she concerned you're sitting here talking to me? Someone she doesn't know know ... you're brother seems quiet upset by it ...
-James flashed a smile at the other boy who looked away quickly. He glanced back at Casey almost laughing when he was treated to his tea-
You're not used to anyone telling you no are you?
-He arched a brow but moved with the human anyway. He had a sensual sway to his walk. Everything about James was so put together, conservative, but it somehow made it all the hotter imagining him in bed. He had his hands shoved in his pocket as he glanced around following Casey easily. They moved so easily talking, not paying much attention when suddenly James gripped Casey and spun him around as he tugged him out of the way and pushed him against a near by wall. A moment later a motorcycle lost control and went half on the sidewalk, and he would have taken out Casey as he wiped out if not for James. The wolf glanced back looking annoyed as the boy picked himself up and tugged off his helmet appologizing to the two of them. James shrugged a bit easily-
No harm done mate but learn to drive that before you take it on a busy street ...
-He sighed before looking back at Casey looking him over a bit-
You ok?
-He was, but of course Casey had to be shaken ... who had those kind of reflexes?-

It's called turning a phrase. Metaphors and the like, I learned all about it in school.
~Casey's grin was all mischief as he teased James. When the wolf referenced his mother, he shrugged.~
She doesn't care. I told her I knew you and she just nodded. She's incredibly involved with Pintrest and Facebook. So, ya know... my talking is just like blah blah blah....
~He flapped his hand like talking as he pretended to look bored. And that was probably true. His parents loved him, wanted the best for him, but they didn't really KNOW him and they couldn't be bothered to really get to KNOW him. It was kinda sad really. Casey scoffed at the comment about his brother but then he was grinning as James stood up to come with him.~
Now why would you wanna say no to me? I'm cute.
~He teased a bit, shrugging as if to say what other reason would James want. They walked down the streets slightly away from the market, but not far when the motorcycle came barreling in. Casey was blinking, heart pounding. His eyes were wide and he lifted those big eyes to stare up at the wolf and fuck all if he didn't look like bambi, just sitting there for the wolf to take if he wanted.~
Holy shit....
~His breath was soft, his voice a whisper as he stared at where the bike was as the kid drove off. He lifted his eyes back to James and nodded his head, but he still seemed a bit in shock. He looked up at the wolf, head cocked.~
How did you... do that? You were so... fast and you, how did you see him coming?

Are you honestly giving me English lessons right now yankee?
-James grinned though and he did like how much of a smartass the boy was in front of him. He arched a brow at the next answer and frowned a touch. It did seem incredibly sad to him that Casey didn't have his parents interests or care but he understood it all too well. His father had never really gotten to know him, or Liam for that matter, they just had their roles to play and that was all that was important. He snorted-
Are you?
-He teased him questiong how cute he really as before suddenly they were spun into a different direction all together. James was still towering over him a bit, pressing him against the wall, protecting him with his body as he glanced back looking fierce and annoyed before his features softened as he gazed back at Casey. He brushed the hair from his face looking concerned-
You sure you're ok? Did I hurt you?
-He frowned hoping he hadn't pushed him too rough but when he seemed ok he shrugged slowly-
I must have seen him from the corner of my eye ... just adrenaline ... no big deal ...
-He noticed how close they were and the scent of fear was so fucking alluring. He licked his lips a bit hungrily before pulling back putting distance between them-
Come on ... let's go to that art gallery ...
-He didn't want to keep the focus too long and how he'd done what shouldn't have been done-

No... no...
~He shook his head, looking down at himself as if to double check he was alright. Casey listened to the excuse, but he wasn't really paying attention to it, he was focusing more on how close James was, his heart still hammering in his chest as he held the wolf's gaze for a moment.~
Right... ofcourse...
~But he seemed to believe that and then he sighed as James pulled away and then they were walking again. Coming around the corner, Casey smiled.~
Here....
~He opened the door to a corner store. It was all white inside, gutted of it's original purpose, but still holding onto the charm, just now all stark white. And on those stark walls were some amazing pieces of art. Almost all of it was modern, bright colors or all monochromatic. There were huge pieces that you just sort of had to stand back from to really appreciate it and smaller ones that needed closer inspection. They slipped around the space that was bigger as it wound around newly constructed walls, checking out the work silently. And here was another difference between Lucky and Casey. Lucky would stare at all this but it'd be a quick breeze by an then he'd be antsying around, wanting to leave and go ride their bikes or go to a movie, or to the garage to hang out with the guys. Casey was quietly standing there beside James and when James would comment on the piece before them, Casey would respond with an actual brightly smart response. Finally they were standing at the back infront of this huge piece that was a large charcoal with an angel drawn, twisting and beautiful, as it fell down into a fiery hell. Casey was so very silent standing there just staring at it and then he glanced at James.~
This is my favorite piece. I found it again. It was in another gallery before I left and I kinda figured that someone would buy it. But a couple of days ago, I came here and there it was, color me shocked.
~But it was said with this soft little smile that curled on side of his mouth. He wasn't looking at the wolf anymore, he was just staring up at the piece.~

-James was a bit relieved when the boy seemed to believe his lie and let it go. His mind was still on how good it felt to be close to the human and he wanted to just tug him in an alley way and claim his lips and bite his neck and mark him for himself. He struggled to regain some composure but slowly as they moved through the gallery he did. He was swept up in the art and it wasn't some snobby thing, it was just love of something, a love Lucky didn't seem to understand or want to understand, and it annoyed James he didn't love it like he did, truly love it, not just semi enjoy it. He stared up at the huge piece finally and his eyes widened. It was beautiful really. He glanced back at Casey as he stared at the piece and smiled a bit slowly ... -
Then it's yours ...
-He held out his hand and motioned for the girl who was hovering in the background to come over-
This one ... wrap it up ...
-She smiled brightly-
Yes sir ...
-James smiled a bit at Casey-
Art should be with someone who loves it ... and you do. It is beautiful and I'd hate to see it some bloke's home who'll never glance at it or appreciate it.
-It was said simply and truthfully and there was nothing there in his gaze to suggest he wanted something back. Others might have bought it for Casey but they would have wanted sex in return or something. The wolf stood there and just bought it because he wanted to and he didn't want a thing in return. It was strange, so many people in Casey's life tried to buy him, to have more of his time or affection or to cojole him into doing what they wanted like his parents but the taller boy seemed to have no interest in changing him or buying him. He glanced around looking to see if he was going to find his own piece of to buy for the night-

What?
~Casey stared at the wolf as he called the girl over. Those big eyes were just blinking, owlishly at James and then he shook his head.~
No, I can't. You shouldn't. It's really EXPENSIVE.
~And when James hushed him, he fell silent easily as the wolf started looking around at the other pieces. He slipped in close to James and when the wolf would look at him, Casey was staring at one of the other paintings. But he turned those eyes on the wolf, looking up through dark lashes.~
Thank you...
~It was honest, open really. For the second time today, James had surprised Casey and now the boy had let down that wall a bit, that wildness still there, but it was combined with a softness that most probably didn't get to see. There was depth there that Casey kept hidden well, an intelligence that would eventually get him very far in this world. The next few minutes were quiet as the girl drew up the check and then left them alone for a moment to go and talk to someone about getting it ready to take. The moment the where alone, Casey crept in closer, gaze not leaving the wolf.~
I don't know how to repay you, I can't, not really.
~His hand lifted, dusting up to the collar of James shirt, his fingers deftly wrapping in and tugging James in, Casey pressing in and kissing Jame softly and not nearly as dirty as in the club. This was almost chaste in comparison. But when he pulled back, there was color on his cheeks and the tips of his ear, surprised by that soft honest respond and maybe a little embarrassed because it wasn't the brash way he was used to doing things.~

I can read ...
-James grinned faintly having seen the price tag but it was a perk of having lived so cheaply for s long. Truth was all the money he'd ever made was in a bank account sitting pretty. He had inherited a tidy sum and he was frugal by nature apart from his clothes and a few pieces of art. He motioned for Casey to give his address before looking the girl over who was busy staring at them as if they had two heads-
Be careful with that ... I'll be checking how it's wrapped and if it's not done properly I won't come to your establishment again ...
-She paled and hurried away making James grin a touch. He glanced back at Casey and the smile faded a touch-
It's fine ...
-He was touched by the honesty but he let it go until Casey was moving in closer and he felt the kiss before it came and despite he rose his hands to push Casey back he tugged him in close instead and fell into the kiss. He pressed the boy in against the table behind before he pulled back letting out a breath. He stared away as if he needed to focus before he looked at the way the boy blushed. He smiled a touch before he sighed-
Casey ... I'm with Lucky. You know that ... and you can't do that again. I didn't buy you the art for that ...
-He caressed the boys cheek though as if he wasn't so angry-
Not again ... now quit getting me into trouble
